Egg and chips as long as the chips are home made and not the frozen kind, a thick slice of bread and butter and a big glass of cold water for me.

Egg and chips is like manna in the wilderness of British cuisine. Think I'll just pop down and have that ice cold glass of milk - the thought of it is making me thirsty.

egg and chips. Eggs must have soft yolks chips must be homemade and crispy. With a slice of bread and butter tomato ketchup on the egg, brown sauce on the chips...yum!
