ok so i really like this boy at school but we are both pretty shy and i dont think he likes me as much as i like him but idk for sure...i no he doesnt like any other girl tho...we are just friends but since we are both shy we dont talk that much.
this weekend (sunday) we're both going 1 hr away to help some flood victims with our church group...we go to the same church youth group...and i was wondering should i talk to him about going out at all or just get to know him a lot more? cuz there would prolly be a few times we would be alone together doing something relating to the flooding tho
also we will be divided in groups...how can i get in his group w/out being the only girl and making it obvious that i like him? cuz idk if he'd like that or not

Since both of you are shy, the easier thing (and the smartest) thing to do is to wait it out and just get to know him better. But don't be afraid to act a little flirty to send him a message that you are interested. But it's really up to you. It'll be just as fine to ask him out if you feel like the time it right.

definitely make a move. even if you are shy if you don't make a move someone else might and then you'll never know trust me its an awful feeling. the be in his group just ask if you can and if he wants to know why your in his group say why don't u wanna spending the day with me would be fun? or this way i can get to know you out of school its the only time i really get to see you, just something along those lines or u can improve but since your shy i don't recommend that, something cute but not to serious ya know? just be friendly with a little flirt. and see how he responds if good throw some more flirting in there and watch response, maybe if all goes well you could ask him to go out with you and a group of friends or something start out slow with not as much pressure especially since your shy. together with friends its always easier starting out.

I really think you should get to know him more because if I was in that situation even though I would've wanted to date him, I would have to turn and ask God whether it's wise or not. If you don't know much about a person, you don't whether you'll have things in common with him or not.

Don't know how to finagle the group thing, but getting next to them in the dinner line always worked for me...
Then sit next to him,and ask questions.. "Do you like sports?"
or about things you think you may have in common..

do this trip with him and try to get to know him better. just ignore his friends and try to be around him while your there. flirt like hell and have fun with it!!!! if it goes well, when you get back ask him if he wants to hang out. i wouldnt ask him before or during the trip cuz if hes not into you then that would make for an awkward lousy trip. good luck!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

he's probably a nice guy. you seen like a sweet girl. talk to him. find out his interests. drop hints that you like him. and if he doesn't get them, ask if he wants to go get a cup of coffee or something. movies are bad ideas for dates. you sit in a theater and don't talk and stare at a screen.

I think you should try to get to know him more. After all, you don't want to pour all your feelings out to someone who you may not end up liking once you get to know them.
