The judge has ruled that before the film can be shown in the classrooms in England the children must be informed of the falsehoods. With so many fabrications, why hasn't Gore been eliminated from the Nobel Peace Prize competition? If he wins, the prize will imediately cease to be of any significance whatsoever.

It's the deal with my mama. I'm 27 and she still wants to give me advice. I'm sick of being stuck on stupid because of her. I want to get a good job, get a car of my own, and move out. She is so cowardly she told me that I'm wasting my time going to college, in which I'm taking online.
I've recovered from my sickness of epilepsy. She tells me that I'd be a fool if I get cut of from getting a disability check, but that little money isn't enough. She says that I'm stingy with my money because I'm saving it for myself and not giving some to her and my sis, but I be straight up and say "I don't have a job and I'm saving it for my future". I want to put my foot down. She's like no other mama, weird. She tells me what I could do to make money and puts me down at the same time. I need to get my space. Instead of being encouraging, she puts me down.
My man advises me to stop letting her talk me out of my dreams. He's the most encouraging man I've ever had.

I've been wearing glasses for around 7-8 months. The doctor said I should wear them only when I can't see... Like the white-board in school. And I did that...

Recently I started to get really worried about my vision. My glasses are -1 diopter (I can't see far) And I'm worried they could increase... So today is the second day I wear them all the time. All day at home. Even in front of the computer. They have antireflex... Not sure in english but it's for when you work on the computer.

Is that good? Will it help me increase my vision? What should I do? I'm scared cause I use the computer 4-5 hours a day. Is it too much? Should I wear the glasses while using it? Should I take any meds? CAN MY VISION INCREASE OR CAN IT ONLY GET WORSE? Is laser eye surgery dangerous? How much is it worth!

My girlfriend wants to put a complaint in and we dont know how to do it or who to contact.

She has been back to the GP 3 times in the past 8 months with the same problem and they keep giving her the same treatment everytime.....antibiotics!!
It works for a bit but then comes back, its causing my girlfriend pain.

Its a small lump around by her coxix(tail bone) just down inbetween the top of her bumcheeks, It swells up and she has trouble sleeping and sitting, I would have thought they would have sent her to the hospital to have it removed or something.

But now she has had enough and wants to take it further as to why she hasnt been refered.

Dr Frank you here? Anyone help thanks

My Tax accountant have all my tax papers, He filled for extension in April since he was too busy to file my returns then, a month ago he told me that he will get them done in the next two weeks, and now he is not returning my calls and his office is closed.

Isn't Monday Oct 15th by midnight is the next deadline for filing the taxes?

Since he is not returning my calls, what are my options before the deadline?

Once the deadline passes and since he has all my statements, what should I do as next step to avoid further losses of time, efforts and money??

Should I contact the Better Business Bureau California? should I take him to small claim court? or would I need higher court for more than $5K?

Hi,
I am 12 weeks pregnant. Yesterday, my friends cat 'stabbed' me with it's claw, and punctured the skin. The cat is more or less an indoor cat, sometimes goes out in the back yard supervised.
I am going crazy here, worrying that I have caught Toxoplasmosis. I called the vet, they said, you have to EAT the parasite to become infected. That put my mind at rest, but then after speaking the doctor, they said I could have been infected through a scratch, and they took blood today, to see if I have been exposed to the parasite before, if so I would be immune. They plan to take blood again in 2 weeks.
As I said, I have been just crying all day with worry about this. Can any one offer any advice? Is it likely I have got Toxo?

In Chicago, we have Mayor Daley. He's raising taxes, well...pretty much on everything. Even miscelaneous items it seems. If I could change my mayoral vote I would. Next time I won't even bother. The taxes he's raising is making Chicago more of a name to be an expensive city rather than a liveable one. Do you feel voting makes a differnce anymore? Like...why should I bother?

I was (mildly) amused when I recently got corrected for saying 'I'll come down on Saturday' when discussing a planned journey from Manchester to Edinburgh with my potential Scottish hosts - 'actually you are coming up (because we are north of you)' was the response. The notion of there being and valid up or down when you are travelling on a spherical body seemed rather strange. They are perceiving the journey as it appears on a map, and yes, when viewed the conventional way around Edinburgh does indeed appear above Manchester. It's interesting to me how the shapes of the land masses on our planet have become so ingrained as viewed from a conventional cartographic orientation that a lot of people have difficulty recognising the shapes of countries if they are not presented with north at the top. I understand the need for conventions and I suppose North may just as well be at the top of the map as South (or east or west for that matter) - but who actually decided this in the first place?

In high school I was an overweight nerd who wore glasses but as I went to college I became the man. I used the weight room to get big toned muscles and even got so good at what I do that I made my division 1 college football team as a walk on.
