Prior to your leaving the group, did you at some point have a subjective mystical experience to "confirm" the validity of the cult in your eyes?

How do you view such an experience, now that you are no longer part of the group?

If you are now a Bible - believing Christian, how would you evaluate any such experience in the light of Scripture?

If Jesus was the son of God, and he died for our sins, doesn't it mean that we're not responsible for our own actions? Doesn't it mean that we can sin as much as we want and not get into trouble for it?
If Jesus died for our sins, then why did God put us on this Earth, considering that nothing we do is taken into account. What was the point of creating heaven and hell if it doesn't matter what we do?

My husband and I have been married for 5 years. No kids involved. After the first year of marriage, he started to act weird, avoiding sex with me, always with a headache or complaining about pain. We always talk about this subject and he says he just don't enjoy having sex. He said it was like that with his ex-girlfriends too. He gets all mad when we talk about it, sometimes being rude and showing dangerous behavior. In the other hand, he is my best friend, supportive and loving husband. I am lost :( Please help.

I am interested in getting the Inglesina table chair from Amazon but I am not sure if it is durable. I want something portable for outing and use at home. My ex has been serving a yr sentence for non-payment of child support. His ex gf just told me that he told her that he has been working for the past 3 months and was making $14/hr which he was going to be able to keep when he got out. I went to the courthouse and tried to find out why I was not getting his child support payments if he was working. They said that they did not have any records of him being on work-release so they called the county jail where he is being held and was told that he was on work-detail. So is he making money or isn't he? And how is he able to use the phone while he is working to call his ex gf?

yes it is true, carbon dating is only a reliable means of dating for a few dozen millenia. so, why do you suppose so many scientists, many of whom have never met each other before, can come to the same conclusion on the age of the earth, as well as how long ago dinosaurs walked the earth? do you suppose maybe they have other means of determining the age of artifacts? or do you suppose it's natural for people, once they hit the limits of carbon dating, to assume that the earth is roughly 4 billion years old and dinosaurs lived about 100 million years ago?
