i went to get my hair done yesterday and have to have it fixed. i am calling to make an appointment for her to fix the color (missed two spots of color up front).

Don't we already offer free education in prisons? I am just very leery of any politician who wants MORE of my money.....they cant even spend what they get effectively as it is, work on that and I might work on giving you more.

I just got back with my ex and was wondering the best way to tell my sister that we got back together. My sister doesn't care very much for my boyfriend, lets just say he has given her reasons to feel this way. I don't blame her, I only hope she doesn't ignore me now that we're back together. This really tears me apart when she gives me the silent treatment. I've been pretty miserable the past few months, not to mention the fact that this whole breakup up has made me lose my appetite and interest in lots of things I normally would enjoy. I know my sister only wants the best for me, but she is taking this whole thing way overboard. Would someone please just give me some good honest advice as to how to best approach my sister with this?

That condemning someone else to hell because they believe differently than you is a belief rooted in fear?
2 Timothy 1:7 For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind.

So why do you constantly judge and ridicule others and claim to be Christian? You belittle the Mormons (who are far more Christlike), the J-Dubs, the Catholics, and of course the atheists, who are some of the kinder more intelligent people i have met on here.

Are you too afraid to look at yourselves, so you find comfort with finding fault with others?

Note: I am very interested in hearing from people who have given someone 'space' and saved the relationship. We are currently seperated.

My wife says that getting back together is not out of the question but she needs time and space right now. I usually call her and text her everyday and tell her how much I love her and how much I want the marriage to work. This always seems to exasperate and annoy her.

Also, she plays online games and talks to other men. Sometimes I call and ask a million questions about that. Still, we are physcially separated. Can someone tell my why "giving her space" (i.e. NO CONTACT) would be a good thing here? In my mind, it just increases the void between us.

I am planning on transferring to Florida State University in Fall 2008 from a community college in NY. I will have earned an associates in business with a 3.6 or 3.7 gpa out of 4.0. I am very worried though because last year I left my community college for a private university in NY but i ended up dropping out. so i had no grades for any classes the whole year i was there. i dont even want to put this other school on my application to FSU, but the application says, "List every post-secondary institution you have attended or will attend prior to entering FSU, including dual enrollment. You must include schools even if you did not complete a term. Include FSU if you attended previously. Failure to list all institutions could result in your application being denied or your admission being rescinded." What should I do here? I really need to get accepted. Any advice will be appreciated.

in calif. they can't drive with toddlers and smoke. but they dont say nothing about alcohol. thats my choice if i want to smoke. i have to live if i get cancer. but if i go out and drink i could end up killing somebody. leave smoking alone. take alcohol away now........
