That condemning someone else to hell because they believe differently than you is a belief rooted in fear?
2 Timothy 1:7 For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind.
So why do you constantly judge and ridicule others and claim to be Christian? You belittle the Mormons (who are far more Christlike), the J-Dubs, the Catholics, and of course the atheists, who are some of the kinder more intelligent people i have met on here.
Are you too afraid to look at yourselves, so you find comfort with finding fault with others?

Okay i didn't mean "little" in a mocking way. It was meant in a loving way. I believe in Christ, so don't assume i don't because of the question.

That's a beautiful scripture -- just what I needed today, thank you. Unfortunately, too often we forget that we are all His children and brothers and sisters in Christ -- and are not in the habit of treating those around us as we would our Eldest and most Beloved Brother.
And, btw - please include me amongst the 'littles' - as I hope to be one of the 'little ones' our Savior suffers to come unto Him.
best wishes

I'm a Christian, and believe that we have no business consigning other people to Hell. How can one sinner possibly condemn another? By the way, I do not belittle the Latter-Day Saints or other people who don't believe as I do. I have many atheist, Jewish, Muslim, and Pagan friends and co-workers. If other people don't share my beliefs, that's their right. I'm a Catholic, so rather obviously, I don't go around Catholic-bashing, as you suggest in your question. I have indeed looked at myself, and I see plenty of fault there. Far too much to go around acting smug and judgmental about others. I have heard from the pulpit many times that we're not to ever damn people to Hell, and I believe that. Why would I even want to do such a thing in the first place?

Yeah I knew that.
I don't condemn anyone to hell. God gave us a power of choice. Other people chose what they do, and that is fine with me. I don't appreciate people saying my imaginary friend or other things people say when they are trying to offend people because they believe in God. Those who say that are the Atheits, those you say are more "kind" on here. You have that all wrong. I have seen just as many of each on here not being "kind" to each other. An Atheist making fun of a Christian for believeing in God is the same thing as a Christian saying Atheists will go to hell. It is still being against someone for not holding the same beliefs as you.

This is a very interesting topic. I think I've asked similar questions in the past (although not with the "fear factor") But since then I've had the thought that is there a difference for condemning (or judging) someone for their beliefs, and condeming (judging) them for condeming others? The question is more tactful then most, and I understand where you're coming from. I've come to the conclusion that I will let them judge if they want to. I'll try to provide answers to questions that warrent them, and let everyone go on with their lives.

Little Christians...I'm definitely little so...
I haven't been condemning anyone because I believe that no one knows what's inside a person's heart, only God knows. And I haven't ridiculed anyone, certainly never called anyone little, foolish or whatever...As I have seen here, mostly, some (note: not generalization) atheist are the ones calling people who believes on God (or whatever) foolish... As I said to someone, (who later then reported me as violating rules), you can call us stupid, moron, idiot , it doesn't really matter because we have peace in God. I'm really afraid to look at myself especially when I haven't comb yet and I think it's just a waste of time to pinpoint others faults.

commence with the hot testomony, its an a lot less stressful study for as we talk. also you are able to favor to get a Strongs Concordance. It has each and each and every of the unique translations from the Greek and Hebrew, and understanding precisely what the author meant is amazingly enlightening. i could also recommend searching into Precepts classes/ getting a Precepts e book. the author is Kay Arthur. She teaches you a thanks to break down verses, and quite comprehend their meaning. in case you haven't offered a Bible yet, seek for one which gives you further assistance on the bottom or contained in the margins of each and every web page. Very powerful. i like the NIV existence software Bible. i imagine NIV is a lot less stressful to comprehend...even with the very undeniable reality that a lot of human beings debate which variations are the wonderful (NIV, King James version)

I know I am beating a dead horse here, but the concept of hell was not used to make Christians feel all warm and fuzzy inside. It was used as a fear tactic. The Bible repeatedly speaks of putting people to death if they try to convert god's people away from him (i.e. to another religion). And death to those who do convert. This is a battle of ideas and the Bible (and its preachers) continue to dish out threats as to what will happen to you if you don't belive in their way of thinking. They are afraid and insecure of their own beliefs. The motivation for all of this is pretty obvious.

i have no problem at all admitting i have fault... i have many of them..
and mormon may "act" christ like, but it is all part of their plan to deceive.. im not sayin they go into it with the intent to decieve, because i dont think most of them know they have been deceived themslves. but, you should really look up some things on the mormon religion before you go saying they are more "christlike" than christians.. unfortunatley there are ppl who claim to be christian who bear no fruit...but the same goes for any denomination. and i think you confuse correction with judgement... it is ok to tell someone the consequesces of evil actions, but that really isnt judging... if you saw a kid run out in the middle of the street, would you not correct them andwarn them that if they continue to do that they will get hurt or even killed? i would hope so.
oh and p.s... no one can condemn anyone else to hell.. thats Gods job, if he finds it necessary.

Hey did you know that...... The bible says....
23for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God,
(that means we are all sinners and not one of us is righteous..we all need God's grace and forgiveness, we all need him to save us. )
the bible also says-
That if you confess with your mouth, "Jesus is Lord," and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. 10For it is with your heart that you believe and are justified, and it is with your mouth that you confess and are saved.
that means if you ask Jesus into your heart, ask him to be your lord and savior and to live in you. (you will be saved.)
If you haven't done the above then you will go to hell, (sad but true) So I'm not judging I'm just saying you will go to hell if you don't accept Jesus. It say so in the bible so if you think that is judging so be it!

J-Dubs... nice.
I don't know how this question is any better, though, by calling them "little."
The "us versus them" mentality is prevalent in EVERY religion, and has led to EVERY religious war. When religions congregate into teams and engage in theological holier-than-thou competitions, things tend to get dirty. This was true of Roman paganism, early Catholicism, Mosaic Judaism, Mohammedan Islam, Early Frontier Mormonism, and Rael today.
EDIT: And I liked the little (who are far more Christlike) tagline you applied to your belief structure. Case in point. For most, this tendency comes so naturally that they don't even realize they are doing it.
