Ron Paul is the only Republican I can honestly agree with. All the others are warmongering NeoCon wingnuts.

Preemptive War = Paranoid Psychosis

Murdoch has too much power over the U.S. media and he's not even a true American. He's an Australian who only applied for U.S. citizenship for global business purposes only.

Okay... I'm sorry to say this because I actually like Ron Paul (I have lived in Texas my whole life and he has doen a lot of good here) but he does not have a prayer... so no, he is not a contender.

Modern politics in America will not allow a maverick into the primaries of the two-party system that we have... The parties over the last 30 years have really brought a madison avenue approach to the machine and a rinky-dink grass-roots campaign won't make a dent in the end. The slugging will between Giulliani and Romney (and maybe...maybe... Thompson).

Sorry... he is the most logical and analytical and honest GOP candidate out there but he is a maverick. He won't play by the rules and the GOP primary voters tend to distrust the Republicans that don't tow the line.

Ron Paul has a small number of devoted fans who keep his name in the news, however the number of people who support him is so small that he has absolutely no chance whatsoever.

Ron Paul is not a serious contender for the United States Presidency by any stretch of the imagination.

If Ron Paul were running for the City Council of a small town, he might have a shot at that, but he has no chance for the Presidency.

Ron Paul believes in fighting illegal immigration, defending the US and following the constitution so I have to say no, he is not a serious contender. No one with such "crazy" ideas can make it in Washington today. The constitution . . . they haven't read that in decades. Its just a g#$ d*^&* piece of paper anyway.

Seriously, he may be able to fight his way into double digits and have a slight impact on the R platform. Other than that, he really doesn't have a realistic shot.

Rise up? For Ron Paul? Why?

What would we get out of a Ron Paul presidency?

Don't get me wrong. I am in favor of his isolation position but, it's going to take a much more complicated strategy to make it happen then just jumping up and down screaming that it's the constitutional thing to do.
He can't get anything done without the support of congress whether it's constitutional or not. What are his plans for that?
Is he planning on becoming King once elected?
Congress thinks he's nuttier than I do.

He should rise up, he has obviously fallen out of his tree.

Yes, I disagree. Blame whomever you please, the fact is he can't get above 2% in any national poll you can find (or is it 4% - whew what a jump). If that doesn't change, he doesn't stand a chance. Reality seems to be a problem for Paul supporters, why is that? You can't lift a candidate up if you don't look at his problems realistically. If his supporters can change that more power to them, but as it stands right now he's toast.

I'm a conservative and I watch the debates. I have seen many Ron Paul supporters on the Internet and it appears that is much of his comes from the Internet. I would not vote for him. I'm more of a main steam republican and could not vote for Mr. Paul.

Yes, he will be the first president ever elected with only 4% of the vote.
Get real.
I see you're already laying out your excuses for when you lose.
Wa, wa, wa, it was stolen again. To hear some tell it the republicans have never actually won.

Apparently 97% of people surveyed disagree. He is getting worse results in the polls than McCain.

Well, anybody with half a brain is not going to want a Democrat in office, and the Republican party is falling apart because of Bush. Ron Paul is our best bet. He is the only candidate who is 100% against illegal immigration, amnesty etc. He is also pro-life, which I respect.
