Happy Eid ul-Fitr (عيد الفطر) all Muslim colleagues! Eid ul-Fitr is a joyous occasion with important religious significance, celebrating of the achievement of enhanced piety. It is a day of forgiveness, moral victory, peace of congregation, fellowship, brother(sister)hood and unity.

Please tell me, how would you celebrate Eid? Do you know that New York's iconic Empire State Building is to be lit up green in honor of Eid starting 2007?

Ok. So im planning on buying an xbox 360 but i know nothing about it. I want to set up xbox live and im gonna get an ethernet cable but i cant find where the dsl/cable modem is in my house. All i know is that the chord from my computer goes into the wall. Can anyone tell me where my modem might be or what it might look like. And if you have an internet thats connected to your phone do you still have modem?

Hi, my friend is being sued by her former landlord for $4000 in damages to the place. She is contesting this amount, she agreed on some of the damages and paid those to him. The landlord provided her with a written accounting of the damages 30 days after moving out. but they were without reciepts and for ridiculous charges that she contested with a letter immediately after she recieved this letter. Six months later he provided reciepts that didn't even cover all of what he was charging for and a few reciepts had double entires all contradicting each other.

Does anyone know what consitutes a written accounting? can it just be a arbitrary figure written down and sent to the former tenant, or do you have to provide receipts and explanations at this time?

This is in Oregon. Thank you.

we are trying to come up with a fun creative way to tell our family and close friends we are pregnant and due in June 08! We have been trying for over a year & 5 months. Everyone knows we have been trying, however we dont want to share our news til we are sure everything is going well with the pregnancy and everything is ok with the baby! We did get pregnant and lost the baby in May, at 9 wks. Our friends & family were so upset about the news! So that is our main reason on waiting til, I am past my 1st trimester or atleast had an ultrasound & showing everything is ok! We have 2 beautiful children now, ages 7 and 3 (in Nov.) our oldest is a boy & and the youngest is a girl! We havent told them yet either! We told them last time early on and we had to go back and explain that the baby had to go to heaven early, (when we miscarried) Any creative, fun ideas to share our news would be greatly appreciated! Thank you!

ok my mom and dad are always fighting especially since my dad lost his job and my mom is the only one working. but my dad hasn't even got up to go get a job or try to go looking. my mom is sick of it and wants to do something about it but i am truly scared about the ending result. i am only 15 and this will be her second divorce if it happens. i love my step-dad but i don't like it when they fight and he is always yelling at me and my brothers for no reason and he has cheated on my mom. please help me to see if i can get themto stay together or help them in some way.
