Happy Eid ul-Fitr (عيد الفطر) all Muslim colleagues! Eid ul-Fitr is a joyous occasion with important religious significance, celebrating of the achievement of enhanced piety. It is a day of forgiveness, moral victory, peace of congregation, fellowship, brother(sister)hood and unity.

Please tell me, how would you celebrate Eid? Do you know that New York's iconic Empire State Building is to be lit up green in honor of Eid starting 2007?

Finally, Minal Aidzin Wal Faidzin (forgive my physical and emotional wrongdoings) and Eid Mubarak again to all Muslims! Cheers!

عيد الفطر inshallah everyone will have a fantastic eid but remember muslims we did reali well fasting avoiding the wrong and helping the poor let that continue in the future!

EID KAREEM
New york...greem light....WOW...i wish there as something like that in england lol!!!!!!!
EID UL FITR
By Obaid Ahmed, 8 years

Now that we fasted and did extra good deeds,
We celebrate Eid-ul-Fitr, one of the two Eids!

Allah prescribed two Eids and forbid all other festivals,
He told us to worship Him and try to get the medals!

Ramadan is a special training for a Muslim,
Practice Islam even when its light appears to be dim.

Continue doing good deeds, just as in Ramadan
And give Sadaqa-e-Fitr, for every child, woman and man

We go to the Eid-gah and say the Takbir,
On Eid day, our best clothes we do wear!

We listen to the Eid khutbah,
And don’t leave until we pray the Eid salah!

We go to the Eid prayer in any type of weather,
And give presents to each other!

We say Eid Mubarak,
And wish each other good luck!

We celebrate festival of Eid
By thanking Allah for granting us our needs!

EID MUBARAK TO ALL MUSLIMS!!!!!!!!!!
:D

Eid is a very special day for Muslims all around the world. How I celebrate it is by calling my relatives and wishing them a happy eid and go to visit them if possible. I also go out with my husband to different places. Usually I buy a new outfit. A few days before Ramadan we buy eid cookies.
Most important thing to do in Eid is to attend the eid prayer and khotba. I really love the sound of prayers that calls for eid "Allahu akbar Allahu akbar la ilaha illa Allah. Allahu akbar Allahu akbar wa lilahi elhamd".
Have a blessed eid ul fitr all

Peace Duke of Tudor! Thanks for the question and it makes me very happy to hear about the Empire State Building! I will look for it on TV!!!

I will insha'allah still get up early for the dawn prayer!!! Just because Ramadan is over we shouldn't forget! Then I may take a nap or stay awake...depends how I feel. Then we shall go to the Mosque and pray with everyone else insha'allah. Afterwards we eat and the kids play games. I may go to my class late to turn in the paper that is due and I also want to meet my friend from class (who is a non-Muslim btw) and give her a gift I got for her. Then we will go to my in-laws and cook and eat and play games and the kids will open their presents. I also got something small for my husband and my sils. Maybe tonight I will bake. If EID was Sat. I would have definitely baked on Friday. Oh, and since it is Friday we also have Jumuah prayer as well! Insha'allah it will be a great day, a very full day!

Allah forgive us all and accept our prayers!

Thanks for your wishes. I wish everybody too a joyful Eid ul-Fitr. Brother and Sister please don't stop with all the good deeds you did during the Ramadan let us continue to be the true Muslim we supposed to be. Allah has ordered us to fast this one month so we should control our self and keep us away from all the bad deeds as we should we can do it so lets pray for each other that inshallah we should continue to keep up the good deeds. Please do not forget to pay your zakats and don't forget the less fortunate they need our help lets join hands and help them. We have to unite and fight against the devil.

Regarding what I did today I prayed my Eid Salat and spent the morning with my Family I went to see some kids who are less fortunate they my kids they are orphans as Allah said we need to look after them. Afternoon my kids are going to enjoy them self have a go-out with their mum.

Eid Mubarak again to all Muslims.
From your Muslim Brother
