It's true, I went to bed last night as a married man with two kids and woke up this morning an acne-faced 16-year old girl in high school. Nobody will believe me!

What can I do?

Can we believe religious theories on the origin of the Earth and life if there is absolutely NO proof. I am not in favour of a scientists view on this issue, in fact I am impartial to any views that people tell me. But scientists do have some proof of the big bang through scientific research and religious groups have....writings and scriptures?
I do not intend to offend people with certain religious beliefs, but how can you say that your scriptures that you rely on are really true? That they are giving us the right idea about how life flourished?
I think people will have some strong arguments against this and I welcome them, but ill say it again, this question was nothing to do with me trying to offend religion. Just to explore some people' views.
Thanks.

Aside from the fact that we can see the chair, and we can tell if the chair is broken before we sit in it....

It is also true that we don't know FOR SURE that the chair will hold us but we still sit in it. Therefore, does that mean you are saying that you, too, don't know FOR SURE that God is real, but you still have faith in him, same as the chair?

I recently got two new baby parakeets. At first we thought they were really stupid because they kept falling to the bottom of their cage. Come to find out, they are not stupid, they are trying to fly and I noticed the other day when Padro was stretching, that they have their wings clipped. The lady must have clipped all the babies before she sold them. I didn't know this. I want them to be able to fly. Will their wings grow back? And if they will, how long will it take? I feel real bad for them because they jump off their perch and flap like crazy, but just crash to the bottom of their cage. Any advice?

I am also have a real hard time teaching them to trust me so they don't freak out when I am in their cage. I really love them and want to be able to take them out of their cage but right now, i cant even get near them. Any advice here would be great as well.

Thanks to all!

1. Islaamic method of slaughtering animal
Zakkaytum is a verb derived from the root word Zakaah (to purify). Its infinitive is Tazkiyah which means purification. The Islamic mode of slaughtering an animal requires the following conditions to be met:

a. Animal should be slaughtered with sharp object (knife)
The animal has to be slaughtered with a sharp object (knife) and in a fast way so that the pain of slaughter is minimised.

b. Cut wind pipe, throat and vessels of neck
Zabiha is an Arabic word which means ‘slaughtered’. The ‘slaughtering’ is to be done by cutting the throat, windpipe and the blood vessels in the neck causing the animal’s death without cutting the spinal cord.

c. Blood should be drained
The blood has to be drained completely before the head is removed. The purpose is to drain out most of the blood which would serve as a good culture medium for micro organisms. The spinal cord must not be cut because the nerve fibres to the heart could be damaged during the process causing cardiac arrest, stagnating the blood in the blood vessels.

2. Blood is a good medium for germs and bacteria
Blood is a good media of germs, bacteria, toxins, etc. Therefore the Muslim way of slaughtering is more hygienic as most of the blood containing germs, bacteria, toxins, etc. that are the cause of several diseases are eliminated.

3. Meat remains fresh for a longer time
Meat slaughtered by Islamic way remains fresh for a longer time due to deficiency of blood in the meat as compared to other methods of slaughtering.

4. Animal does not feel pain
The swift cutting of vessels of the neck disconnects the flow of blood to the nerve of the brain responsible for pain. Thus the animal does not feel pain. While dying, the animal struggles, writhers, shakes and kicks, not due to pain, but due to the contraction and relaxation of the muscles deficient in blood and due to the flow of blood out of the body.

My husband and I have been married for almost 4 months, but have been together for almost 7 and a half years. I've wanted to have children for as long as I can remember and before we got married, we discussed the issue and my husband said he wanted to wait a couple of years after we married. Now that we're married though, my motherly instincts have kicked into overdrive and it's all that I think about. I love my husband dearly and don't look at having a child as a negative at all. My husband, however, looks at it as the end of our lives as we know it. Whereas I look at it as being able to share our lives with our child, he sees it completely different.

My question is more of a desire for your opinion. How soon is too soon to have children? I understand that it's a case by case deal, but I'm soooo ready and he's soooo not! What can I do in the meantime to busy myself until he's finally ready for parenthood?

I live in Ohio. My Uncle and Aunt live in Ponte Vedra Florida .. thats where they got married, on the beach.

It was gorgeous and i've always wanted a beach wedding.
My Grandparents drive to Florida to see them every few months. Take about 8 hours to get there.

We're only having about 60 people at our wedding. Just close family.

Do you think this would work? =)
