One week. I never let it go that long though. I usually throw out after 3 days or so.

It varies on what type of meat (if any) was used. If it's chicken or fish...toss it after a day or 2. If it's beef or pork, it is good up to 1 week. Do not keep more than 1 week though.
But, for sure if you cook one night and eat it the next day it should be fine.
If you made way too much, try freezing some. It will keep for a few months if it is frozen!

NEVER keep leftovers for longer than three days depending on what kind of food it is. Food like Spaghetti and Rice-a-roni are good for about 3 or 4 days. Anything with dairy products or anything like that, do not keep for longer than a day or two, tops!

I would keep it for 2 days at the longest. Always remember the phrase when in doubt throw it out...

I use the 3 day rule. If I don't use it by the 3rd day, it gets trashed (or froze). Not sure where I got this "Rule" since my parents keep things at their house for a week. (I don't eat at their house unless I know when they made it!!!)

On the 3rd day, eat it or toss it.
If you can't use it in 3 days, wrap it well & freeze it.
