Ok, so a few weeks later silly me asks him what he wanted to say to me and this is his response: " I love you very much and I am looking forward to our future" and to answer your question " I am working on it". I know what gutt feeling is, but i do not want to get my hopes up....what do you all seem to think?

he chickened out... he'll do it. my husband couldn't even get the words out when he said it he was so nervous, it took him so long that i just said yes... sounds unromantic, but i assure you it was amazing...

stay calm though and don't act like you know. might freak him out more

Well he said he loves you very much and he is looking forward to your future together, but saying he is working on it is a little strange to say if he is thinking about asking you to marry him. after all this does not take work!! It is possible that he is working on getting a ring to give you though.. You know working to get the money to buy it.. Usually when a guy wants to pop the question they like to have the ring on hand to do it. But... he could be working on something totally different.. like a trip or something.. I would not get too excited till he comes around to telling you about it.. You will have to be patient and wait!! Dang it!! Don't you just hate waiting?

I don't know how other people think in here but it doesn't sound promissing. I think when man is ready for the future with his woman he just say it and not like him working on it. He is taking a time and not sure he really want it. Anyway don't get too much excited about it yet.

Don't get your hopes up, because if its something else you will be disappointed. Just go with the flow and with no expectations, then whatever happens will be a bonus!! He already said he loves you and wants a future with you. Be happy and grateful you have a man that loves you!!

Could be a marriage proposal but only he knows for sure. Just let it go for now and let him do whatever it is he has to do. Don't over-analyze, that way, you'll be excited no matter what the "something" is.

Don't hassle him to much about this because it sounds to me like he is wanting to maybe purpose.. But don't ask him anything else..guys want to make sure it is romantic and the right time..but if you hassle him too much it will make it less romantic and you will ruin the surprise. Good Luck!

I think he was going to ask you but you probably made him stop. A man doesn't want the woman to ask what were you going to ask me. He wants to make sure that you know he was not afraid to ask. When he stumbled you should've gave him a chance to recover from the fumble. Now you may have to wait longer.
