My brother is joining the army and at the physical they said he was color-blind. He wanted to work on helicopter electrical systems, but now they say he can't because of the color-blindness. (BTW: He can see green and red but not some of the other colors) Why can't he still do what he had planned? What will he end up doing?

I am really worried about him now, so any info would help. Thanks.

I am really freaking out here, please help me. Tomorrow (Thursday) we're supposed to start our swimming unit in school. I love this unit and I'm really pumped, but I'm supposed to get my period on Friday. Now I've only been getting it for a year, so it's still really unstable. I never know when I'm going to get it. I haven't gotten it yet, but I'm really afraid I might get it before I have to swim or while I'm in the water! If I miss the first day my teacher will get furious, and besides my mom is making me swim. So what can I do? Any suggestions?? I don't know how to use a tampon so please suggest something else! Please help me! :*(

I have a job dilemma. I have been offered two jobs on different coast. I one I really want doesn't pay that much and I would just be getting by. On the other hand the second job pays decent but I'm not too excited about it. Any advice?

Ok, "I'm Here" just got me
athinkin. When I was little, my
mom left me at kiddyland in the Famous-Barr store in St. Louis. What a joy that was.
Later, I would go with her to
all the floors and look at all
the goodies. The ladies in
hats and gloves and the elevator operator that sang out: "First floor,jewelry,powder,purses,gloves,
perfumes, Second Floor:
whatever. There were no
shopping carts so we had to
carry the various boxes. then
there was lunch on the mezanine. Wow, tuna salad
in a tomatoe. Then I got the
streetcar ride home. I also
remember the "Bon" in Seattle, which is no more.
Ladies how did you like the
genteel style of shopping?

I have been with the same guy for the past five and a half years. We have two beautiful children together and at one point were engaged to be married. Let me add that we started dating when we were 17 and 18. We are now 23 and 24. I decided a couple of months ago that I no longer wanted to get married anymore. At least not right now because I feel that he is just not growing. He lives the life of a 17 year old, going to friends houses and doing whatever he wants to whenever he wants to while I'm at home living the life of a single mother. He's a great dad when he's at home. I just wish it were more often. We were living with his parents, but I couldn't take it there anymore so I decided to pack up the kids and move to my dad's house until we can get a place of our own. I couldn't take it there anymore. He had no responsiblities or motivation while we were living there. I want him to move in here bc I think that it would give him more motivation to get our own place. contd......

Thanks so much for the help before with my betta!!
I did a 50% change, and added salt and more coppersafe to replace what I took out.

I have a couple more questions (sorry!)
I dont have a heater, do they make them small enough for a 2 gallon? And I live in South Texas and we turn the A/C up in the day so in the day his tank gets up to about 79-81 deg and at night it goes down to about 74. I was told this was fine for him...but does that mean I need to heat the water MORE to help cure the ich?

And I took out a decoration and scrubbed it and washed in in HOT water...should I put it back in his tank or boil it or throw it away or what? I dont want it to keep him sick.
Also, are his live plants (java moss, water wisteria and ribbon plant) ok or do I need to get rid of them and get him new ones when he is cured?

I was just wondering if you could take InfraRed film and find the problem spots of insulation in a house. I have an older film camera that the manual says you can use IR film in. I am willing to try it, but figured that I would ask here first.

The pictures would not need to be too terribly clear as long as it showed where the heat was going.
