He was meant to be at No Mercy but Vince figured all the hype was on Orton & HHH so he changed Jericho's debut to Cyber then to give him a big intro.

It looks that way. He did some big matches in Japan early this year. He made about what he woulld in a years wrestling work for just a few matchs that were all wins.
