I'm in Algebra 1 and I'm working on intergers and stuff. How would I solve this equation? 3x+9=5
I think it's something like: 3x+9-9=5-9 or something like that. Aren't you supposed to subtract 9 from both sides or something?? Anyway, when I did it like that, the answer was wrong. Help!

My Chihuahua Abby will be 2 years old on Oct 25, 2007. She is a larger chihuahua - about 7 lbs. A little bit of family history - I have had her since she was about 10 weeks old. I have a schnauzer who was 4 years old when we bought our Abby so needless to say our schnauzer is pretty dominant (not mean) but weighs about the same size as Abby + approx 2 lbs. Abby goes to the door and barks or scratches the door to get outside. Sometimes she will even come get myself or my husband. When we're home she doesn't need to go outside very often but when we leave her out in the living area at home she will pee in the carpet when we're gone. If we put her up in an extra bedroom ALONE she can stay in there for hours and never pee! I know the answer is to leave her in that room while we're gone but I don't know the root of why she pees. BTW we've NEVER EVER caught her peeing! I'm getting frustrated because she can't even sleep with us without waking up and peein gin our bedroom :( I'm so upset!

When I am on the internet, sometimes I will click to see a video on google video, youtube, or any other website that shows videos, but the video will never show up. If I restart the computer again, it will show up, but after a few mintues, it will not at all. Please tell me how can I fix this problem.

i am traveling to the bahamas by sea, but my birth certificate last name is different from my State driver's licences last name...should I go to the state building to change my BC last name or am i safe? please help im very concerned about this...

Every time my son eats anything he gets this rash on his face, I mean anything!!! It is almost as if he is allergic to his own drool, or maybe his skin is so sensitive that anything with turn it red. He eats all kids of food, and this happens from everything from fruit and veggies, to dairy, to even dry foods, like cereal, or toast. Does any one else have this problem? Does any one know what it is? IS he allergic to everything... Or his skin real sensitive? Just so we are clear, he does not break out any where else on his body except his face like his lower cheeks and chin, any where the food touches.. Thanks!

My mum had a fall and hurt hurself and was very poorly. She died after 6 weeks. There were various causes of death but the primal number one cause was mrsa. Has anyone else claimed a hospital for this?

(When I turned it on, the main page was enlarged/had larger letters but whatever sight I go to it doesn't show the "full page" & I have to adjust or move the "< >" tool bars to see the full page, you know what I mean? ("settings" didn't show anything, or do I need to look it up?)

I have a few questions regarding chimney liners

1) I will need 2 liners about 20 and 30 feet long. I have gotten estimates ranging from $1500-$5000. That is obviously a wide margin. What is a reasonable price for the liners installed with insulation

2) Half the contractors/shops I spoke with said insulation around the liner is necessary, while the other half said it wasn't necessary. Is the insualation necessary?
--we have an outside brick chimney. The flue 'is cracked in a few areas', this is why we need a new liner

3) Another contractor I spoke to said it may be necessary to take out the old clay tiles before putting the new liner in. would this be necessary if I'm getting a new stainless steel liner put in? considering nobody else mentioned removing the current tiles.

Any advice to save me a little money would be greatly appreciated

I left my lunch meat in the car this morning, not realizing this until I tried to make a sandwich for lunch. I tossed it. Should I have kept it? I feel so wasteful, it was rather expensive ham.
