my father and i were never close. he had a bad drug/alcohol addiction. he left when i was a baby i remember a visit w/ him wheni was 6 i had so much fun w/ him i (then he freaked out and started coming down from his high and scared the hell out of me) i never relaly saw him afte4r that. i always felt abandoned and unwanted. then he got sick his gf (who new about me) didnt tell the hospital of any relatives he was only 46 his kidney and liver were failing and he was on life support as soon as the hospital found out they called. (this was on sept 28th) somehow thru my name they got my aunt (his sister) she then contacted me i todl her i dint want to make any choices i iddnt feel it was my place to i didnt no him like she did. she chose to take him off life support bc he was never happy (he was the cause for an aaciddent that killed my uncle when they were teens thus making for a very difficult guilty life for my dad)he was in north carlina in a hospital i (and his family) r in pennsylva

Im so happy the whining yankee fans are silent tonight. Im by no means a baseball fan, but I surely love when overpaid and overrated athletes are beaten by guys that play with more heart, and less money. I wish I could see the look at that creep Steinbrenner's face.
It's amazing how these players regardless of how good or bad they play, still get paid all this money. I have a super idea........pay them at the end of the season based on their overall performance for the season. Derek Jeter, posada, Arod, Matsui, waaaaaaaaay overrated !

Boston woulda crushed the yankees anyway so maybe its best there done. Boston will easily win it all.

You say you cannot believe in a man who went into the woods and saw God and Jesus, then translated the book of mormon...

Yet you can believe in a global flood, that a whale swallowed a man and spit him up in a city, that there was a burning bush that was not burning, that Jesus' mother was a virgin, that Jesus died and ressurected himself and then floated on a cloud to Heaven....

I don't see the logic of how you can say those things are true, but then say Mormonism is completely crazy....we believe there was an ancient text that was a record of the life of people over here a long time ago...you can't believe that, but you can believe all those other things???

How do tampons and pads differ when dealing with cramps? Does one give more relief when cramping really bad? I have the worst cramps and was wondering if I would get more relief if I wore pads instead of tampons.

i found this really nice and easy coconut biscuit recipe and i want to make them NOW! lol.

the only thing is that the recipe doesnt say how much castor sugar i need to cream with 25g of butter.
for the recipe i need:
-1.5 cups of S.R.F
-25 g butter
-1 cup coconut

so do you know how much sugr to use?

I feel like im so ugly and fat i think im stupid and that ill never get the boy i like to like me back.I want to be better all around.My mom tells me im perfect the way iam but why do i think soo little of my self?Sometimes i cry at night i feel so awful i also wish my dad was a better person and not always drunk so i could at least see him(my parents are divorced)plus my friends recently started to call me a ******* and a ***** i feel so lame.what is this that im feeling and what should i do about it?

I just hooked up my dvd player (to my yamaha 5.1 receiver via digital coaxial cable) and my directv hd dvr receiver (to my yamaha 5.1 receiver via digital optical cable). When I use the dvd player I get sound from all speakers (front r, l rear r, l center and subwoofer. When I use my directv receiver I only get sound from the front 2 speakers. Is this because there aren't many broadcasts on television broadcasting in 5.1 or am I missing something with my settings? There doesn't seem to be anything on the directv receiver settings that would allow or disallow 5.1. The only setting is dolby on or off. I have tried it both ways. Many thanks!

I have been having some financial problems lately. While I can afford to pay for my bills and rent I don't have any money left over for anything other then bills. Well a friend of mine is also having financial problems and they have a 3 bedroom home with just them there they offered me a room in their home and we split all the bills. The problem is I am not sure if its a good idea for me to move in with them. They are a couple and I am use to being independent. What would you do. Do you think it would be smart for me to move in with a couple and would you consider doing something like this as a way to save money?

My mom has vericose veins on her legs and about a month ago, one became very swollen and soar. She went to the Dr. and they did an ultrasound. No clotting. So he started giving her injections to break down the vericose veins but one of the veins became red and painful. She went back to him to let him know and he said that it's now a clot. He told her to take a blood thinner (bayer aspirin) and gave her an appt. to come back in two weeks. Now she has another swollen bump on the other leg. She is going back Thursday but I wonder if the Dr. is treating this seriously enough.

to make a long story shortI've noticed this since almost last year.I used to be shy when I was younger until i was 17 and I broke out of that.I've noticed that I changed about 9 or 10 months ago.maybe its cuz Im around my girlfriend too,much we live 2gteher.when i talk 2 my friends i dont even talk the way i normally do.they said i act kinda different but Im still cool.I also noticed for some reason Im getting less talkative with people too.I dont know why.Im bout to go back 2 college and Im nervous for some reason to go back.I had took 2 semesters off.
I have no idea where all this nervousness worrying and is coming from.I wasnt like this when i turned 17 and after and now Im 23.can anybody tell me what could be wrong with me

we have a gazillion vhs tapes.

we need a new vhs recorder; our 3 have worn out.
no reason to go to a combo vhs/dvd.
vhs should cost 75-100.
