My friend wants to marry the father of her child (who was not with her during the pregnancy, he lives in Canda she lives in the UK, he has had partners, she has had partners)

The baby is now 2 years old and the man has only seen his child for the 1st time in August.

They are now engaged.

They want to get married in 2009, but he has does not have his Canadian passport, he was originally from Jamaica.

She wants to up sticks from the UK and live with him in Canada.

He is meant to be coming to the UK to see her in December, but he has not even sorted out the visa and expects her to pay for it because she wants him over there!!

I have asked her, if he is begrudging paying for a visa, how is he going to buy a ring because he seems tight!

How long does it take to get your visa?

Can he be deported if he does not have a passport for the country he lives in?

I don't understand why so many Christians celerbrate our Pagan festival. And, send their kids trick or treating...apparently it's a dare for the kids to knock on my door. The locals think I'm a witch...I wonder why?
I don't mind I like to see people having fun but it does seem a bit illogical. If not unChristian.

right now i have pretty curly hair.
my hair now is about 3-5 inches past my shoulders and has long layers.
i straighten it alot, but it takes forever and always gets wavy later on.

does curly hair look better with shorter or longer length?
what length is easiest to straighten(and stays straight)?

also,
how can i keep my hair straight when i straighten it?

really like this guy

he texted me say that he thought i was really nice and he would have asked me out for a drink y now but he was seeing someone and that wouldn/t be right

i really like him what should i do we have know of each othr for about 2 yeatrd but he has always been in a relationship he broke up with his girlfriend of ten years about 7 months prior.

Me and my ex boyfriend went out for about 2 years. Over the summer we got in a lot of arguements so I just sort of faded out of his life because I didn't want to put up with it and I started getting really busy with school/athletics. We haven't hung out for a little over 7 weeks. We have a class in school but I just run out to avoid confrontation with him. He texted me yesterday it said "we should hang out soon.." and I thought sure why not so I texted back "yeah...we should."
He responded back saying "was that sarcastic?"
