No. New Yorkers handle things with grace and class. That's why we don't turn cars over or set fires during our celebrations, either.

Don't let some of these answers fool you. New York City is a huge sports town.We just don't get crazy about it.

I've been to other stadiums in this country and saw some really nasty behavior by home town fans and some celebrations that got out of hand.

In NYC we have two Pro Teams in every major sport. We also have a number of other attractions and lots to do. So we tend to keep the celebrations under control and generally treat visting fans good, well we may have some good natured banter tossed about.

Yes - they will fly to Cleveland, and set fire to the river....

If this were a few years ago, they'd walk back across the Hudson without needing a bridge or tunnel....

NY is a lot less sports-oriented than other cities, and the Yanks have such a history of success that the occassional defeat isn't that big a deal.
