Okay, well Saint Christopher is definitely not the answer, to a russian orthodox, but I have to say something else.
The patron saint, *consider the meaning of the name saint*, of armed forces, and US armed forces at that.... how blasphemous does this sound rolling off the tongue?
I don't want to offend anyone, but to threaten someone into submission is a thoughtless, and juvenile short term solution. Think about it.
To kill the killer is to succumb to human nature, and deserve, by your own standards, to be killed in return.
I have so much to say on this topic, whoa, I'm just going to answer the question with the best answer I have for you.
The closest thing that the US armed forces (as a whole) have to a patron saint, is George W. Bush; the fool whose support means most to them, and the most foolish among the few who believe that they have a prayer in Hell of succeeding.
I realize that these are some harsh words for someone who is trying not to be offensive, but I do not use the words fool or saint in vain, because there are very serious implications attached to each of them. I hope you see that I'm only honest and outspoken.
