I am a Ref, and I agree with that call his elbows did come up. I think a minor is plenty, it looks worse because avery had his head in the other direction looking for pass/puck and turn around and got woken up.

That's a clean hit. the elbow call is pretty iffy, Avery took it a little odd, that's all the reason he got called on something. the elbow did come up a little, but not enough for it to really be a penalty. Clean hit, bad angle for the ref I think. that happens.

Looked clean to me. Looks like Neil just finished Avery off with a forearm, not an elbow.

I Think it was somewhat dirty, not something u'd take for suspension or Anything but im happy Avery Got knocked out but not really happy because when we face the rags, clarkson needs someone to scrap with! he can just take on orr! or hollweg!
But i do give credit for strudwick sticking up to avery and making it an even fight with neil!

It's a clean hit. Avery probably took the hit on a funny angle that dislocated his shoulder. Freak accident.

Avery got his head down, can' do that in the big league.
Unfortunate Avery got injured but stuff happens.
