I recently bought my first bird feeder. The man I bought it from advised me on what types of seed to buy. I remember him saying that cardinals especially like those black sunflower seeds. We have cardinals here and I like seeing them outside my kitchen windows, so I bought a big bag of black sunflower seeds and put them in the bird feeder. I haven't seen any birds use my feeder until today. I saw a few brown sparrows (I think) fly up to the feeder and then fly off, but I haven't seen any birds since. I would have thought they'd have spread the word about a new feeder in town! Now I'm wondering if they don't like those black sunflower seeds. Did I misunderstand the guy? Did he mean they will only attract cardinals? Thanks!

I am cooking Cedar Plank Salmon on the grill and want to know if I should leave the skin on the salmon until after done cooking, or if taking the skin off before grilling will add more plank flavor. Thoughts???????

2 minutes ago i found my daughter in the bathroom. her face was covered in pink stuff and the shampoo bottle was opened. i asked her what was on her face and she said it was the shampoo she drank the shampoo it was a new bottle and now a lot of it i missing no more then half but... im not prepeared i need help right now !

Is there a law about young kittens not being able to go home alone if they are under ____ months. I was going to adopt a 10 week old kitten today but the woman told me that kittens at that age cannot go home without another kitten. I live in Minnesota. Is she lying or telling the truth?

Mine is extra pepperoni with white sauce unstead of red.The white sauce (if you dont know what it is) is kinda like ranch so instead of dipping its kinda there in your pizza already.If you havent tried it you should cuz it is delicious!!!!!!!!!!

I live in an apartment complex in which the apartments right next to each other. So i have noticed my neighbour's precious cat who i really love, is always kicked out of the house every night. She seems like an indoor cat and does not even go one feet away from the door. She just stays by the door mat or gets under their car. Is is not wrong for them to do that?

Also she absolutely loves me too, when ever i take a walk at night she 'meows' at me and walks a little toward me, and when i go to her she loves to play and cuddle. Would it be proper to ask my neighbours if i can play with their cat? I feel like a theif outside their apartment playing with their cat in the middle of the night.

i just saw a suggestion on the forum asking the YA team to fix the error page that many people seem to encounter regularly (you know, the error 999 page, 'the server is busy', 'oops! There's nothing here now, try again later' etc?)

The staff member replied: "We're looking into the error you're experiencing, but please try again later."

I was amused. But that could just be because it is 1am here...

A friend of mine says it is bad that only four or five nights a week my family has a family meal together. My fiance works and my little daughters have to be in bed by 7 so I give them and my 3 year old niece that lives with me dinner at 6. My soon-to-be-step-kids eat by 7:30 with me and if their father is home him too. On Saturdays and Sundays we are always all over the place and I can never cook a meal so I order out or make something in the microwave and we all eat at different times. Is this bad?

Just trying to predict who's going to win...

as for me, I support Ron Paul 100%. He wants to pull out of Iraq and make government smaller. But most importantly, he wants to protect the American way of life and END illegal immigration. And he's not going to steal my money and give it all to poor people.
