my rottie had pups 7 weeks ago and had all the discharge but today i noticed a spot or two of blood .really red , could she be coming into season already ,last one was 1st week in june when she got caught ..

She could be cyling back early. Some bitches will do this. 7 weeks plus 9 weeks is 16 weeks or 4 months. Take her to the vet and have her checked out anyway.

She shouldn't come into season again til December if she was in season in June.
If she has puppies that are 7 weeks old, you shouldn't be seeing really red blood.. You took her to the vet and he said ????

she should not be due yet , she probly is only slufing off some after birth stiil, she wount go back into heat untill after she stops feeding her pups about two months after she gave birth,then add six months to that and you should have her new cyc date. the bigger dogs usually six months, so if she gave birth in jun two moths for feeding the pups then she would start agian in april.

She shouldn't be. MAybe you would want to see a vet!! The pups are due for vaccines and worming now anyway!!!!
