Kinda says it all - a question for those who don't feel the need to enforce a certain way of viewing things on others.

Let me tell you a tale. I have a friend who lives in American South who married a nice Japanese gal. Now he was really, your stereotypical atheist - and i'm talking about the really Bad Stereotype. He rotated between his home and Japan, and during that time his mother in law (which he grew to like) died.

And so he went to a traditional Shinto/Buddhist ceremony and while in Japan found himself "outside of himself" or seeing things with new eyes. He even cut out his often habit of littering so as to not offend the Shinto spirits he did not believe in....rather as a sign of respect for the beliefs of his wife and mother in law.

He went home, took a long hard look at how he had been before and changed. NO - he did not convert to Shinto, or his family's religion - he's still a proud atheist. But not an angry one.

He is of course, an extreme case -

my classmate is involved in black magic,numerology and so is his family!...i spend alot of time with him as we are in the same class,and he goes on and on about what he knows and has experienced,spooked me out basically.he does tell me what is good n not good for me,like favourable times for pursuing something,etc.i need to know if there is any way i can shield myself from all of this because i dont want to get influenced by it all.

Here in the UK, USA made rifle ammo is getting dificult to obtain, suppliers have long back-order lists. This aplies to compnents also, and includes 22RF. We are being given the excuse/reason that all production facilities are being used to supply the military in Iraq, and that when ammo will be available, it will be at a greatly increased price.
Are you guys having the same problem in the states, or is there something more to this ?

well do i have to wait for my manager to tell me when i get my paycheck?...or do i ask her...well im new at this job(albertson's)and i dont know if my manager will tell me..i was going to my job to try to pick up my check but my sis told me to wait another week to get my check...but i dont know if they already have my paycheck ready for me...and i didnt want to go to the store and ask them for my check..and them tell me that i dont get it yet.....i would feel really dumb!!

When Tobit goes to seek his wife Sara he has to bring some fish to expel the demon asmodeous out of her. It's because she had 7 husbands before and each time the jealous demon killed all of her husbands before consummation of marraige. I am just curious why would God permit this demon to kill her husbands? What were they guilty of? Why was the demon in her if she was a good lady? Please let me know.

My 21st birthday is coming up and my friends and I want to go to the new club in Hollywood called Opera. If I am honest we are a pretty attractive group of girls but we deffinitely aren't skanky (think more Lauren Conrad and less Paris Hilton). Will we have a problem getting in? What time should we plan on arriving at the club? How much should we plan on spending. Should I call ahead of time to make a reservation. Ok, my daughter is nearly four years old. She has suffered from chronic constipation since before she turned one. This set toilet training back ages, but it has been on track for about 5 months now.
Last year, she would cover nearly her entire bedroom in her poo when she finally did it. I took her to specialists, but they put her on parafin oil for her condition and didn't say much about the behaviour.
Two weeks ago she was constipated again, which lasted over a week, but fixed itself up. Then, last week, when she did a poo, she smeared it into the carpet and played with it again.
She is in a private school who are very caring and they say she is very intelligent and want to move her up into the next class already.
Have your children displayed such behaviour? What did you do about it?
