I passed someone walking a few days ago & thought to myself that it hadn't occurred to me to stop & offer him a ride. It bothered me a little. I used to pick up people all the time & give them rides. I hate to see anyone waliking in
the cold, or heat or rain. Times have changed & it saddens me.

I would but the hitchhiker would want out pretty quickly with 2 screaming kids and junk piled up to the windows, he may not make it out alive, lol

I actually have picked up a hitchhiker before...she didn't even have an axe or chainsaw, either!

Of course. I've always wanted to be chopped-up into a hundred pieces, by a total stranger. J/K .. no, I'd never pick up a hitch-hiker .. I don't care how 'safe' they look.

I would have a few years ago, but not now. The world has gotten way to mean and ugly! I'd be too scared.
