Ok, i have this great dress for homecoming which is a week away and i just need to drop a few pounds. not much, but those few are very noticeable. i want it to be a healthy transition. just a few pounds to slim my stomach a bit. that's all. does anyone have any suggestions or anything that has worked for them/family member/friend?

Just got into a debate about history with my father and the attention span of people was mentioned, Hitler captured their attention. How did he do this? By relating to their emotions. Would that go to the KISS principle, the simplicity of our emotions.

I mean, is our obsession with a certain factor that makes us more receptive to information offered on that topic and allows us to capture it even if it is whispered from a range that you normally wouldn't hear? Can you sense the interest?

When people claim to be "born again", what precisely do they mean? I have always believed that when we are baptized we are "born" into the Kingdom of God. the neighbors houses are dumps. there is trash everywhere, old junk cars, ect. I had over 50 people come and look at my house, and they all loved it, then looked next door, asked if people really lived there, then left. Not one offer from over 50 people who looked. i have no idea what to do? is there any legal action that i can take? i do not have a lot of money to pay a lawer. Please Help!!!!

I want to move out to LA after I go to college to pursue Acting but I was wondering whether or not if majoring in Theatre arts be a smart idea? I do have the desire to want to Act and hope that I would be able to make it in this business but then again, a lot of people don't make it. So would majoring in theatre arts give me an edge over a lot of people trying to make it or would I just be waisting a load of money? should I just simply take acting classes and major in something else?

My friend has never been single out of the five years I've known her. She broke up with her boyfriend to go out with my guy friend, then she broke up with him (after a very short time)to go back to her ex. Now she's single again and she says she has a crush on this other friend of her's. She always makes herself out be the victim when it comes to these situations, but I'm tired of it because she's the one that breaks their hearts.
What is up with her? Does anyone else think that she's moving a little too fast? And why do all these guys have crushes on her if they know that she's a serial dater?

All of these people (and more) are hated by the left. Oh, there is no denying they hate them. After all, they have been trying to perfect the politics of personal destruction on these people. And before you on the left mention Bill Clinton, I will mention that Bork, Quayle and Thomas were long before Clinton.

And then the left has decided that trying to uphold the Constitution is hatred? How did those people who spew against the above people get to decide what hatred is?

In English class we just finished reading Macbeth and now we have to do a skit based on it in the style of a news cast. I would love some ideas on how to make this really funny and maybe have a modern twist. Have any ideas or websites I could check out?
One idea was to make the three witches in the story hippies and then everyone else conservative people, but I dont think Im really going for that. Need the help ASAP please. Thanks a ton.
