I will be doing some cross border shopping in Niagara Falls, NY on Monday, but I was wondering what would be open and what wouldn't be.

I would think that everything but banks and USPS would be open. Not many recognize Columbus Day as a Holiday. You should be more than fine with shopping! Have a great time!

I know for sure that USPS will b closed 4 Columbus day and the only deliveries would for EXPRESS pckgs. You can call the USPS number to find out. Not sure about the banks, and other stores. I would think that if the postal service is closed then, the banks probably are too.

Most stores should be open on Columbus Day.

i don't think many stores sould be closed cause it's not really a holiday that everyone celebrates.
