Call your county code enforcement people -- they'll come out and MAKE them clean it up. You don't pay a dime (all of us do -- part of why we pay taxes - not a bad thing).

I agree that you should contact your town if you do not belong to a homeowners association. I would first ask the neighbors to clean up. If they do not act within the agreed time frame report it to your town or city. The city will serve them with a letter giving them a deadline to clean up mess or pay a fine.

I am planting fast growing green giant thuja trees for my junkyard neighbor view barrier .

Sounds like you do not have time to wait for growing trees .
Get a taller wooden fence ( 7 foot at least ) .

FYI - complaints to the government resulted in notices to the junkyard neighbor ,
But , they just rearranged the junk .
Reality , it can take years if ever to get it corrected .

That makes it really tough and that's why there are so many home owners associations out there to help protect every ones home values. ( But I hate them because they always overstep there boundaries. ) Call your city or county and track down the dept, in charge and file a formal complaint.

Good Luck

It sounds like they are dis-obeying a town ordinance, I would check the county clerk, or make it know to the town.
You could also pay or promise a big block party, to everybody just for the time you are selling your place?

You can probably register a complaint with your county/city etc.
Try calling the bylaw office, or your town hall etc.

Call the police and show it to them, I think they will find out the way to solve that problem.

It's probably illegal for them to have their houses in such disrepair; you should look into involving the authorities.
