My 22 year old brother passed away, a few days after, my mom called Citi to cancel his credit card and the lady she talked to said that Citi will write-off the balance (approx $950 in which he normally paid off balance monthly). The Citi lady just asked the for the date and county he died in to check the facts.

Now, a month later, the bill was received anyway and now Citi is saying that that is not their policy and the balance is due and they are not putting the $400+ in cash rewards toward it.

All they are doing is making this difficult time even worse. Does anybody know what is going on and what is their real policy?

I have a small white spot on the side/tip of my tongue, its not raised but it has been hurting so bad for the past 5 days, it hurts to eat, i have tried baking soda, an asprin, orajel, and salt, nothing helps, it hurts so bad i can cry, my whole jaw hurts at times after I eat, has anyone had this, what can I do other than go to the doc, please help im miserable♥

I live in a dangerous neighborhood, and I've been mugged twice very recently. I simply can't walk 2 blocks outside of my house without facing such dangers. I'm seriously thinking about carrying a bat with me everywhere I go. Would anyone recommend any other ways I can protect myself in these situations or not get involved at all?

I was sitting in the baptismal service at church last night, and had an interesting idea. A couple weeks ago I went to a meeting for the Youth leaders of our church and we talked and watched a video about reaching young people in the new generation (the "Mosaics"). I also had just talked to my mom recently about what she calls the "Sesame Street Effect" which is the lower attention span, the ability, and necessity, to multi-task, and interest in things that would cause baby-boomers epileptic seizures. Also, I was inspired by the Weekend of Prayer in Lancaster, PA. On Saturday, the format for the most part was in each 2-hour set there was a worship team (musicians and singers), an MC who set the mood, and voiced the focus of the set, and a prayer leader who periodically spoke the word of God, either through inspiration or through the reading of scripture. Ok, so he's 20 and Im 18, he just got out of a 3yr relationship. We hung out like everyday after we went out on a first date. I stayed the night at his house a few time, we didnt do anything I swear, and everything was great. Until one weekend I stayed over there and his roommate told me a lot of things about him, and it made me start thinking maybe he's using me as a fallback or something, his roommate is a girl who likes him alot but he doesnt like her,. But he could tell something was bothering me when he took me home, and we talked about it a few days later, and he said he just needs time cause he still has feelings for his ex, which im fine with I never tried to rush him ao anything, but he didnt talk to me at all after that and i stopped by his house to see his roommate one day, and he didnt say a word to me and when i left i gave him a hug and he said "I'll keep in touch" !!!! Im so confused now. I dunno if he liked me at all or if he was just using me. What do you think???
