I would be very cautious buying the extensions off the internet. If you are really serious about it I would say go to a reputable hairdresser in your area and ask their opinion. That way your parents see that you have done the research and aren't just throwing your money away on what you think you will be getting from the internet. Once they have your money you may not be able to do anything if you aren't happy with the product. With going to someone local you can see the product first. Good Luck!

How expensive are extensions? I'm not familiar with how Pricey they are? How short is your hair? Do you have a nice haircut? I'm trying to gather the facts to I can access you side and your parents side also..since I am going in blind...I will have to go on theory. I assume that the extentions are pricey that is why your parents don't want you to get them. They probable figure it is a waist of money and you hair will grow again you just have to be patient and wait for it. They are probable thinking if you put the money that you were going to waist on the "vanity" for extentions in the bank you would have a nice start on a savings for the future. I know what its like to have long hair and to cut it and miss it...but trust me it will grow back. You can always wear cute hats like MK and Ashley does... I know you think your parents are being unreasonable but they have been living alot long and have seen the "value" of a dollar...and I my not get the 10 points but sweetie you hair will grow back...you just have to be creative...and use so cool styling tips and style products and accessories and short hair can be really sexy too!

I'm a mom of a 19 year old daughter, and I have to agree with you on this one.

If you are almost 15, are willing to spend your own money, then I really don't see what the problem is. I would be a bit hesitant about buying them over the internet though.

If I was you and I had my own money I would go to a salon and get them done, I wouldn't get them off the internet for sure. Also if you earned your own money that means you can use it how you wannt, and also just because your parents don't like the idea doesn't mean they wont stop you, they might just think you wont like the outcome of it.

Be careful what you buy off the internet, and if you were to buy them online who will put them in your hair? It gets pretty expensive in salons, especially if you want it to look natural, upwards of $1200. You should save your money and just let it grow out again.

I wouldnt recommend buying these off the internet. It is better to have them done locally and make sure they are done right. Is the money you have from working or something or do you want to take it out of your college fund?
