Was the United States considered imperialist under the leadership of Roosevelt and Wilson?

Look at the Panama Canal, the war in the Phillipine, and the invasion of the Carribbean Islands. I would say so. What do you think?

Yes, that was still during the era of Manifest Destiny, and we were very much imperialist back then. People who throw such accusations around now, do so a little more loosely.

Yes, the US had colonies in the Philippines, Cuba, Panama, Hawaii, and other smaller islands.
