My parents divorced when I was 4 - but I can remember having seen them argue forever. They are a mismatched couple.

Recently I've decided I am not interested in marriage and/or de-facto (I'm 22). My father says that this may have arisen as a result of seeing the relationship between him and my mother and I agree.

Has anyone else here has their romantic life affected seriously by their parent's relationship? Have they loved each other all their lives and you've based your relationship on that? Or have they been like mine and probably scared you away from such a future?

I have a misdemeanor for petty theft and currently live in Stockton Ca. I am so angry at myself and am very frustrated because I can't get a job to save my life. I have had so many doors slammed in my face, that's it's not funny and some temp agencies that I want to apply at (due o the companies they service) said that I can't even apply if I have a misd. for petty theft and how they only want the "highest quality" employees to offer to their clients. Made me feel like sh!t. I've had jobs my entire life and granted I did make a kid mistake at the age of 23, however I had no representation, I just plead guilty and they gave me 3 years of probation and made me pay $310.00 for taking 25.00 worth of food for my family. We were doing bad at the time. I've never done anything like this in my life and now employers wont even look at my resume. Nobody seems to want to help me as far as programs for employment, public defenders are not helping me, should I get a lawyer, would it be worth it?

As a muslim it's annoying to have to defend this action.

It's true her age is in despute in various texts but according to HER OWN ACCOUNT in hadith she was 9 years old.

Well you have to understand at that time 9 was like...18. Yeah, right. I don't ever know what to say to it except that's some gross sh*t right there.

I want to be a boxer. Maybe not a professional but at least an amature. But I don't have any gyms near me to train in. I have learned a lot from one of my friends who does box, from practice, and from studying the fights. I do the heavybag workouts and try to spar with him when I can. But I'm still just okay. I don't know if I'll ever be a boxer. I'm only 16 but I feel like giving up. It dosen't help that ever martial arts freak I've ever talked to puts me down for not being formally trained. I live in Newport, N.C. That's almost the middle of nowhere. I feel hopeless.

I have a really crappy 1985 Dodge Aires station wagon, and I just received a $20,000 inheritance from my Great Aunt. My current car has sentimental value because I lost my virginity in it. Is there a Ferrari kit for an 85 Aires station wagon?

In the original bionic man, and in the opening credits.Colonel Steve Austin only had 1 bionic arm, so how come he managed to bend the barrel of a pistol in half. Surely you would need 2 bionic arms/hands to achieve such a feat?
Or am i just over analysing too much?

Everyday a language on our planet becomes extinct. In Australia and in South America their languages are thankfully obsolete. I read in my newspaper that thousands of different languages exist. Oh please go away with your separatist language. What is worse is that linguists want to perpetuate this separatism.Latin is the only language for planet earth.
