I rent an apartment in PA, and live above a Family from India. Well I have no porblems with the family they cook a lot of ethnic food, and some of the spices they use can really couse some harsh odors if you are not used to them. These odors have started to travel up into my apartment, and make me very uncomfortable. When I approched my landlord with this he informed me that there is nothing he can do regarding cooking smells. My lease does state however that the comfort and rights of other tenants must not be interfered with. Excessively annoying sounds, odors, activities, and lights are not allowed. The landlord claims that cooking odors are not covered by this. My question in regards to this issue is can anyone tell me if I have any sort of rights legally or otherwise in making the landlord take action in this matter? if so can someone please provide me with a link to any additional info that might be useful on this topic.

i met this man 12 years ago when we first got together i though it was going to be like a couple of weeks of a few months but was i rong it turn out 12 years. Now i have grown to love him. But recently he has slow down with me in my heart i know that is the best but i miss him so much. Sometimes i just want to come out with it and tell eveything because i get angry with him. I wonder and wonder does he love me any at all after 12 years. See he is not much of showing his feelings. Right now i'm trying with all of my heart of letting go. Then i get to thinking he should not get off that easy and leave me holding the bag. i have done everything that i know i gave him my soul my mind and body i'm so tired of hanging on but still cant let. he knows how i feel but yet he tells me its all in my head Boy i wish!! It took me 12 years to see what is going on it hurts me but its base up on sex! I know he is not going to leave the girfriend at home but you know she needs to know.

My 2.5 year old is 38 lbs and about to outgrow her car seat in the 5 point harness setting... Does anyone know of a car seat that is cheaper than the Britax but has a weight rating higher than 40 pounds. It's illegal to move her into a booster until she is 4 years old in our state and I can't afford a Britax.

I just got a new job working full-time (first job out of college---woohh!!!) Right now, I'm a waitress. My job starts on Monday and I'm not sure what to do about my current job. I work Friday, Saturday and Sunday nights. But, I am available to work double shifts on Fridays and Saturdays (but rarely do). On Sundays I close the restaurant at 11pm.

I really need to keep my waitressing job for at least the first 2-3 weeks of my new job. My new job only pays every other week. So, I may not get a paycheck until the end of October (if they hold it, or if there are payroll issues)

I can't go a whole month without any income. However, I'm not sure if I should give my two week notice this week (as in tomorrow) or next week. I want to make sure I'm covered with some sort of income. I don't want to give my notice too soon. But, I also don't want to hold off and then have them scheduling me for hours I can't work, b/c of my other job.

I know it's a silly question.

My stupid landlord didn't pay the mortgage which I kind of assumed when the sheriff was here looking for him. So anyway the date of public auction is 10/27/07. I am going to start looking for an apartment tomorrow, but does anyone know how much time I will have to move and do I need to continue to pay rent?

I am 7 months pregnant and have an 8 year old son with special needs. Should I be looking for something right away or do I have until maybe November 1st?

So a friend and her fiance want to get married at JOP then they are having their church wedding a few months later. They want to keep it secret but is it possible because at the wedding at the church don't you sign documents with the Paster?! How can they do this without NOBODY knowing?
