we are having a party today and I had bought some carrots to put on a kabob stick along with other stuff but after cutting up the carrots, I'm wondering how I am going to get those stiff carrots on the stick. Do I just slide them on or is there something special I can do to make it easier?

A female coworker asked me to go to dinner with her and a group of friends from work, I told her that I might be able to go but wasn't sure because I had other plans. When I told her I couldn't go, her facial expressions indicated that she was very disappointed that I wasn't able to go. Then ignored me for the rest of the day. How should i take this, I told her that I already had plans and there was only a chance that I could go. Should I apologize. I am a dude by the way

about a month ago i went for a japanese sports carnival and got back with a sunburn...and from that day onwards, pimples start gathering on my forehead and it cant seems to stop!

Ive tried anti oil face wash and a different brand moisturizer and it doesnt seem to work...HELP ME! i miss my old face

I just bought a house with an old in-ground Gunite/concrete pool. It's not in the best shape and probably needs to be painted and/or re-plastered. I don't have the money to pay someone to paint the pool and I certainly can' t afford to re-plaster. The pool is currently drained. The town charges me to refill the pool via my water bill - around $500. I've done a basic cleaning of the pool and patched a hole/crack with approriate patch material.

My choices are:
- Paint it myself: Sounds like it will require a lot of time and I'm worried about the weather holding up here in the northeast. My understanding is that I'll need to power-wash the surface using something like TSP and then a matching epoxy paint.
- Fill it and worry about it next year, even if that requires redraining the pool.

Which way is the right way to go for someone on a tight budget?

Im 15. I have a HUGE abcess in my mouth, all my gums are purpley/red and i cant even fit a small spoon in my mouth it is that swollen. i have lost 8 pound in the last 4 days because i cannot eat! My dentist has given me anti-biotics but the pain is unbelieveable!! My left cheek is the size of a tennis ball.. maybe bigger. I cannot sleep properly as it causes me too much pain and my eyes have become black. I feel so ugly. My face is throbbing. I cannot go out as it hurts for the cold air to hit my face and people stare at me. i cant wear my make-up which usually makes me feel more confident. Because of this unbearable abcess, i have a horrid taste in my mouth which makes me heave. I cannot even bath as it makes my face sting. I have also caught a bug, feel sick at the sight of food, heave when drinking, have earache, headache and period pain all in one. I really would appreciate it if anyone - male or female, could give me any tips to at least help me feel better about my self. thanks
