Are these people so BLIND and so hungry for lies that they are willing to betray america to honor our country's greatest enemy?
Can't they be satisfied to hear his lies and hate on the news....? They have to have him over for tea?
Is Columbia a sign that liberal america is opening the doors for the final destruction of america?
maybe we will all be praying to allah and speaking arabic in a few years.....with union of "church" and state....

Let me refresh everyone memory here.
Iran is undeniably a strategic ally of al-Qaida. Even if it weren't, it shares Osama bin Laden's objectives of destroying both Israel and the United States by any means necessary.
Ahmadinejad is the personification of this anti-American and anti-Semitic policy of hatred and violence.
The Iranian president will not be coming alone. He will be accompanied by Iranian intelligence agents whose goal will be to seek out American security vulnerabilities.
They will be flying over New York, the site of an air attack just six years ago, looking out the windows and taking notes.
They will be traveling, presumably without blindfolds, through New York City and surrounding areas, observing bridges and tunnels and other strategic terrorist targets.
Iran commands a terrorist organization bigger in manpower and resources than al-Qaida. It is called Hezbollah. It has attacked targets all over the world.
Ahmadinejad himself is not your run-of-the-mill head of government. He has been a secretive operative for the Iranian regime dating back to the takeover of the U.S. Embassy through a period when he was suspected of personal involvement in foreign assassinations.
He will use his visit to the United Nations and his chats with international reporters to further his objectives of worldwide jihad against the U.S.
His country is currently killing U.S. troops in Iraq with proxy terrorists, bombs and weaponry.
His country is currently killing civilians in Iraq and undermining our efforts at bringing freedom and stability to that part of the world.
His country has been testing missile technology designed only to create massive electromagnetic pulse (EMP) attacks on targets that might very well include the United States – attacks that potentially could kill millions and reduce our nation to a second-rate power overnight.
If you ask me, Columbia is stupid for letting a terrorist speak there.

Harvard is in the middle of Boston. Did you look into this at all? Also, most colleges required a decision over a month ago. Are you sure you've still got an open offer from both? Which one is better in the field you plan to major in? Harvard isn't the best at everything; Columbia has better programs in some fields.

While I wouldn't waste an ear vibration to hear him, and I wouldn't be in favor of giving him a platform, if someone wants to hear him they should be allowed to.
No one is going to be praying to Allah unless they are Muslim, and that's not automatically a terrorist. I hear the Catholics are returning to a Latin Mass, I doubt they want me either. That just bombast.
A university is a place where ideas should be aired, there will be questions, I wouldn't trust the answers, but students need to learn critical thinking too, and the best way to do that is to expose them to the flawed reasoning of a man whose tiny little country makes too much noise on the world stage.
It is never a betrayal to know as much about your enemy as you can. Its common sense.
Stuffing your fingers in your ears and singing doesn't make for a good reality check. Not everyone going to hear him believes his garbage.

Neither hateful nor stupid, just "liberalized" to the point of being extremely naive. They obviously believe that the likes of Amadinejad can be reasonable and open to diplomacy if given the chance. History is not their guide - they would rather resort to thinking that the way things should be is more real than the way things are.
Sad, eh?

Columbia is holding up their right to free speech and association. They undoubtedly think that something can be learned from his visit.
That's not a sign of anything, except that you would prevent people from doing that.
Your use of imagined future crimes to support your denial of rights is more worrisome. Do you understand what freedom means in this country? Do you understand that it extends to people you don't agree with? YOU are scarier than Ahmadinejad.

so how exactly has Mr Am-a-dinner-jacket threatened the US again?
anti-americanism in Iran has its roots in the CIA's history of involvement with the disposed Shah against the better interests of the people.
you shouldn't be so easily manipulated as to believe that means that he is out to destroy america.
as to 'GOD BLESS AMERICA/ANTI LIB' nonsense about
alleged links to AQ - Iran is a majority Shiite country and Wahhabism is hostile to that, just like Saddam's Ba'athism is. Such allegations of links are blatantly false.Only Americans -the most uninformed people in the developed world-would fall for them.

Columbia U is just expressing their "Right To Assemble", which is in the Constitution.
By the the way.........
What has the Iranian President done to you?
If this dude is so bad, why don't the US arrest him when he gets here?
Is it because he hasn't done anything?
I THINK SO!!!
All you neo-con hate mongers always want war but no peace.
Even if he has a group in Iraq fighting the US mercenaries from committing genocide, GOOD FOR HIM!!!!
And please remember this honey..........................
Ahmadinejad did not knock the towers down..............
BUSHCO DID!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
