wanted to focus on just changing the people's spiritual direction why did he let himself be annointed by John?? it wasn't a spiritual conversion, once the oil touched his head he was ACCEPTING his birthright as the king of israel! had he not done this couldn't he have gone on happily teaching and preaching??? could the whole thing have been no more than a non violent resistance movement, that once Jesus was killed ticked everyone off and cemented their comittment? this would explain why the gospels were written during the destruction of jerusalem and the jewish revolt wouldn't it?? and why they were written to whitewash the roman blame?? if you really see jesus go to heaven why do you fear accusing the romans???

ok my gf is getting me a new guitar for my birthday and i ask her what she wanted for he birthday, her bday is the 29 of this month i mean i have an idea of what she wants she wants a bass drum. do you think i should get it for her and just suprise her with it or should i just take her to the movies like she asked for? i mean i have alot of money and her bass cost 499$ and my guitar cost 399$

A lot of family problems. I have 10 years her junior, she is unmarried, has a weight problem and parents give her grief over this. I myself have been in therapy and on medication to combat anxiety problems, but I am clear enough mentally to know she needs help. I have asked her to try counselling numerous times. This morning she woke me up, she was upset over something mom said. Says she will rent a hotel room and shoot herself in the head, says she will go and jump off a bridge. I know and feel her misery, but I feel helpless. I told her if she goes out today to try and buy a gun I will call the cops and make sure she cant get one at any gun shop (we are in TX btw, I cant go in the gunshop I am 20). I told her that I will get her committed for her own safety. I have felt like her so many times but I put my faith in God to keep me going. She is starting to feel like God betrayed her and that is why she is not looking to God for help. I am scared. I dont want her to die.

there is this guy. he's one year older than me, but i don't think that's the problem.

It says that I am bein considered for inculsion into the 2007/2008 Cambridge Who's Who Among Executive and Professional Women in Healthcare "Honors Edition" section of the Registry.

It incudes biographies of accomplished women. I am suppose to complete an application form and return it within 5 business days. There is no cost to be Registered.

Does anyone know what this is really about?, any catch that I don't know about? Has any of you been in this? Thank you for your kind answers.

I just saw an article in my newspaper about a teen affiliated with the volunteer fire department who is being charged with arson. That is what piqued my interest and curiosity on this matter.

I have a friend that was in the company of another person at a bar when that person supposedly robbed the place. The employees and other patrons all gave statements that my friend did not appear to be involved, as did the person who robbed it. However, after the police promised him they'd release him if he'd admit my friend was involved, he gave 4 different versions of how she was involved. (none of them true, she isn't the type) In addition there was also a security camera that would prove my friends innocence but the police did not request it. They are charging her with a 3rd degree felony which carries a mandatory min of 8 years if found guilty. Her lawyer even said the only thing keeping the DA from dropping charges is his false statement. How can they use his statements? He was convicted before of the same charge as well as drugs and my friend has never had more than a parking ticket. (for any ?ing why she was with him, they were friends years ago & wasnt aware of his record)

there's this guy in school, he talks to me alot online, but when it comes to face-to-face talk, especially in front of his friends, he just bails. he carries my books after school, he calls me sweet names like "babe or sweetheart" in a sort of playful way. he talks to me everyday even if he's overseas. he flirts occasionally. and everything. but in the end, his line will always be

"i'll be there for you. you're my good friend."

I recently applied and was hired for a job. I then got a call from the HR lady saying when they did the background check they pulled my credit report and it doesn't look so good. (duh i thought) I didn't want to give the details that my husband left me I was a stay at home mom who didn't have a lot in savings and well I got behind on most bills, one reason why i was applying for the job. She had said it would limit me in promotions(don't they have to see what kind of a worker I am before they decide that anyways) She was basically trying to talk me out of the job one that pays well and will get me back on track. She was a little shocked when I said I would still take it limitations or not. Did I do the right thing by taking it? I kinda feel I will be under the microscope for awhile and judged based on a difficult time I had to get through in my life.
