If it is gum with sugar in it it will leave a constant coating of sugar on your teeth and encourage decay.

If it is gum without real sugar in it that makes it tasteless and you look like a cow chewing cud, without any health benefits.

sugarless gum is... although I have heard that if you chew gum too much, it can cause or worsen TMJ (Jaw problems)

It suppreses your appetite and drops off a little calories(coz of chewing)

as long as it's sugarless gum...it's ok...

but if you have caps...beware....the tackier the gum gets the more risk it will pull off a cap..
