Hi there,

Does anyone know of anything that can remove permanent marker pen from things. My wife phoned me up at work this morning raging because my little boy had found our permanent marker & drawn all over our marble fireplace, cream suite, rug & laminate floors.

I find this media and PR involvement in the campaign unsettling. Where are they going with this thing? Why is it necessary to pursue so much publicity that centres around spin, PR, and celebrity names?

I am going to be in Vermont for about a week in late December, I would like to go sking/snowboarding at least one day (never been skiing, only snowboarding) The last time I was there I had to rent equipment from the Ski Shop at Killington itself. I was curious if there is another place that has a wider variety (Aspen East Maybe??) avaiable for rent. Buying is not really an option because I live in Florida and rarely ever go near snow.

Any suggestioons?

I was in a really good relationship for 2 years, even though it was long distance relationship - we were really in love and it was amazing however toward the end of the 2 years things went rocky and he finished it. from then on we got back together a few times but something always got in the way, and he then moved further away which made it impossible and almost straight away a relationship started up between me and a close guy friend and we got into this really serious relationship without having a chance to rebound and have any time on my own. we've been togther nw for round 8 months and its really serious, i stay at his round 6 nights a week and he's perfect we never argue he takes care of me i cannot fault him.n he does make me happy. bt i cnt help hw strongly evn now i still feel for my ex, me an my ex still tlk, not very often but we do. n e stil loves me he is also in a 7/8 month relationship. there hav bin times he has mesed my hed up an lied.can i stay wiv my bf feelin lyk dis

the question seems reasonable to me. A glance at the yahoo submission and the recent petition against the torture of Albanian minors by the police suggests that there is institutional racism rather than xenophobia (fear). It is surely not fear that prompts torture but racism. The same can be said of the rise of LAOS, or indeed the torture of Necati Zontul ion 2001 and 165 others. So the question should be whether Greece shares this racism, is aware of the xenophobia that drives it, or whether (as I hope and suspect) it is confined to a very few (but influential) sectors in Greek society - specifically the police-force, army, Church and Government. And of course, it is possible to instance numerous policemen and women, Hierarchs in Greece and beyond who are sickened by the rise in racism and the surge in xenophobic propaganda.

A young man moved into a new apartment on his own, and went to the lobby to put his name on his mailbox. While there, an attractive young lady came out of the apartment next to the mailboxes wearing a robe. The boy smiled at the young woman and she started a conversation with him. As they talked, her robe slipped open, and it was obvious that she had nothing else on. The poor kid broke into a sweat trying to maintain eye contact. Most trains have powered exterior doors, that open with the push of a button, once the system has been energised (usually by the conducter).

There are clear instructions, stating "press button when illuminated", or words to that effect. Despite this, many people push the button when it is not illuminated, with no effect. Why do they do this? Why not just wait for it to illuminate? I just don't get it.

if there was a BRIGHT SUN, then why could not there also be a DARK SUN ?. And also to the moon, could not there should also be a DARK MOON ?. THEREFORE BY THAT'S had causes THE ECLIPSES ?.
