Is it right to force people to invest in a scheme like social security that does have risks to insure that everyone lives at the poverty level, or let people invest as they see best for their life?

If we live in a free country, why do we accept being forced to invest in a risky plan that is mis-managed by gvmt officials?

Wouldn't it be better if we gave people the choice to opt in to social security if they wanted to, and let others invest on their own if that was their choice mad by their own free will?

If we think we know best for others, then should we be able to control more of their actions?

im trying to copyright a story for manga but it is not finish yet.
i want to copyright it by volumes (10 chapters each)instead of the whole story at once. can i do this?

another question is would i have to add pictures or can i just do it with the story since i dont have a artist right now

Seems to me, over the past several years NASCAR has made changes that now I am loosing interest in it. Don't get me wrong, I been a die hard fan for over 25 years. I know faces has changed and the sport has became so huge. Where once upon a time, I wouldn't miss a race for anything, now it don't bother me if I go a week without watching.

After I got married, on my W-4, i claimed 9 allowances because I have two step children and my wife who doesn't work. as well as changing my status from Single to Married. That boosted my check by almost $300 per month.

If I get divorced before the end of the year, will I be forced to file as a single person with no dependents? In other words, will I owe thousands of taxes back? ($300 X 12 months = $4800).

Am I correct in these assumptions, or will I get some kind of break because for most of the year I was married and supported two children?

It doesn't seem fair that, say, for the first 10 months of the year, you support a wife and two kids, and then comes January, you have to file as a single person with no defendants just because of a late year divorce.

I look at Court TV and see the three psychics trying to find clues for people who are already dead and I still haven't seen a show where they helped solve a crime. Why don't they use their psychic abilities to find this girl. Then there is Sylvia Brown on Montel Williams, the psychic's on the Psychic Detective and Psychic Investigations on Court TV and A&E or Biology. Why don't they all ban together to find this child in case she is still alive. I see these nationally known child missing cases and wish I had psychic power to help find these kids. Is there any True Psychic out there who reads this that may know what happened to her. Please help if you can!!!!!

I started to feel a migraine coming last tuesday & by wednesday lunch time i had to go home sick. I was off thursday sick as well & already had friday booked off. It's now monday, i'm back in work & feel awful!! I really can't possibly go home ill again but need some relief. I've taken 2 paracetemol an hour ago which hasn't helped. I recently have feel unwell for up to 2 weeks the last couple of times i've had migraines, but just read that they should only last up to 72 hours, so is 2 weeks normal?

i went to production department to apply there as machine operator. ive talked to the lady her name sinchu and she is the secretary of the director. she told me to leave my cv and call me once the director has reviewed my cv. until now she hasn't call me. she give me her e-mail and i want to write her letter.

I hope a clothing store in Mayfield Kentucky in June 2007 but is not working at all. I’m closing the end of this month. What do I need to do besides putting a lock in the door?

My ex-wife has driven me out of Australia, she has lied to all my children. My son was living with me in England and he went back for a holiday and now she's turned him against me and he is stayng there. I have a 9 year old daughter and a 16 year old daughter. My son was 13 when he came with me because she called the police on him for throwing a mobile at the wall. She has lied to the police, spent hours in lawyers concocting ways to destroy me, I have spent thousands on trying to defend myself and didn't have any money left to continue fighting her. She has told the kids that if I really loved them I would of defended myself against her and she is extremely manipulative and tells them I have left the country because I can't be bothered having kids now which is not true. I feel like completely giving up, what does everyone think. This has been going on for 4 years.

This really is a 'friend' (ie not me). She has asked me for advice and I don't know what to tell her. So input from you would be welcome.

She and her boyfriend were given the position as "host management couple" at a resort, but only as the backup couple in case the fullterm host couple can;t host for whatever reason. Her boyfriend supplements this income by being a tour guide. they live at the resort.

They soon discovered that the full-time host couple are threatened by them and try to make their lives difficult. Furthermore, the head tour guide has been hitting on my friend from day one. As her boyfriend works under him, she took a long time before complaining. Now that she has laid a complaint, this guy is victimising her boyfriend by not giving him work. Also, the owners of the resort have demoted them as backup host couple "until the situation is resolved".

They both really need the cash but are very unhappy and don't know what to do.
