There are two ultimate western films starring Clint Eastwood. The first is "The Good, the Bad and the Ugly", the second is "A Fistfull of Dollars" - both are so-called "Spaghetti" westerns, made by Italian film crews etc in Italy back in the 1960s. Both have excellent casts of mean looking Wild West looking actors.

There's loads of info on Fist Full of Dollars out there, but no clips that I could find.
Anyway, my personal choice of the two is The Good, the Bad and the Ugly.

Wow, thats tought Clint Eastwood not often made a foul western, yet heres a catalogue for you so as of my very own favouritism: a million. the sturdy the undesirable and the gruesome 2. For some funds greater 3. diminished Rider 4. Unforgiven 5. The Outlaw Josey Wales 6. A Fistfull of dollars 7. severe Plains Drifter severe Plains Drifter, and The Outlaw Josey Wales are in actuality adjustments on a similar topic, i.e a guy wronged or has his kinfolk killed and is out for revenge... diminished Rider has an extremely average supernatural topic to it, i.e Eastwood is as quickly as lower back the guy without call, suggested because of the fact the Preacher who's incredibly of an Avenging Angel and protector of the susceptible. i in my opinion like this flick so a approaches as Eastwoods hardman character is in contact. For all out exciting the Spagetti Western Trilogy are those to observe the place Eastwood is at his laconic suited, Lee Van Cliff and Eli Wallach are sturdy reasons to observe the two the sturdy, the undesirable and the gruesome and For some funds greater. For me the 1st interior the sequence A Fistful of dollars is powerful yet has a incredibly greater serious tone than the later 2 that are only lots exciting. you probable decide to observe Unforgiven final as that's in actuality the tale of what Eastwoods gunslingers could grow to be while they advance previous, its a fantastic action picture with Morgan Freeman, and Gene Hackman additionally in advantageous style. desire this helps..

I would've said "The Good the Bad and the Ugly" too except that film wasn't his movie, it was Eli Walach's movie all the way. Actingwise, Eli's "Tuco" owned that movie in a way that made Clint's "Blondie" character look like a cardboard figure.
That being the case, I would have to say "Unforgiven" is Clint's best western to date. It may be a few decades too late, but at least he finally played a role to rival Eli Wallach's virtuoso performance.

"High Plains Drifter" is my favorite. It is different. Dad liked most Eastwood films, but he didn't understand this one. I like one that makes you think for a change. Some of Clint's movies copy Japanese movies. This one does, and "Fistfull of Dollars" does too.

The Outlaw Josie Wales.
"I thought Indians were supposed to be difficult to sneak up on?.... Nah, the white man's been sneakin' up on us for years"
Of course Pale Rider was OK too.
"Death rides a pale horse and hell shall follow with him"
But the Sergio Leone trilogy was the best for style.
Oh by the way, I'm not a total Alpha - I HATE Steven Segal.
(edit)
for others....
their are three, the one youve forgotten is 'for a few dollars more'.
