If you dont belive in God, what do you do when you come up against difficult situations? Am asking because I was raised to believe the things of christianity but never really was a "hard core" christian. Now that I question the validity of the bible(although I believe that some of the things are too supernatural to have ben made up..am clearly confused), I feel at a loss of what to do when I am in a difficult situation/personal problem because then here I am questioning the bible but I feel the need to pray...to something/someone am not sure I believe and clearly dont have complete faith in. Has anyone ever been in such a situation? Particulary if you were a christian...How did you get through whatver the situation? Did you turn back to God despite your doubts??

This women is a good mother she work hard to support herself and pay her bills, and she get child support check every month. I know her because I am her bf, I am trying to help her get through this but she is really afraid of losing her child, the father is a felon and does not seem to care for the child but just to do this to hurt the mother and separate us a part. The father is fighting for full custody because he think he can get the child back after his probation has ended, and he is trying to use me and do anything to get his full custody and stop paying child support.

Let's be real. In the US, the AVERAGE American is not going to do low-wage janitorial, agricultural or domestic work. When the bills are due and you have no other options, facing hard times we'll temporarily take whatever work we can get. In the past, I have too, but all the while l wanted out and to get a better job. I went to college and so did many of you. Those that don't usually have a trade or skill to get them their "ideal" job. Nothing wrong with any of this. It's the American Dream.

My question is, WHO do we REALLY expect to work in the so-called menial, agricultural, domestic positions?
Americans are hard-working people. We want to feed our families, but face it, it's hard to fill these positions and they don't pay a lot. The CEO of a company makes $100,000/yr while the janitor makes $18,000.

We could pay the janitor more, but then there's inflation and downsizing.

I got a ticket for because my sticker on my license plate was expired.
I thought I had to mail in the money order and ticket by September 20th, Well I was wrong and they should have gotten it today (5 days before my court apperance if I choose to go but Im just pleading guilty so I just have to send in the money order).
Im going to send off the money order as soon as possible but it will probally be a few days late, Does anyone know what will happen?
The tickets only $75 and I live in Illinois I dont know if that matters at all.

Well I am a freshman and dont really know any girls but even at my old school no one ever liked me. I am not sure why either whenever i look in the mirror i question whether something is wrong with me. What do you think cause my best friend who is my same age and we have gone to the same school since 2nd grade has had 3 gf over the past 3 or 4 years. It seems i always have dreams of the house i grew up in (not even "grew up in) My dads house that i lived in from age13 to 18. All through my childhood we moved around a lot, this house is where i lived in he longest.(My Dad sold it 7 years ago) Anyway, The scenario is always different , but a lot of my dreams take place in this house..my old room (in my dream) is exactly how it was. THe situation in my dreams always seems to be we're living in the house but it is to be sold soon, or the new owners are gonna take ownership really soon. Why do i keep having dreams of this house?
