The Heaviside function H is defined below. It is used in the study of electric circuits to represent the sudden surge of electric current, or voltage, when a switch is instantaneously turned on. The Heaviside function can also be used to define the ramp function y = ctH(t), which represents a gradual increase in voltage or current in a circuit.

as seen in above link, H(t)={ 0 if t<0, 1 if t> or = 0

(a) Write a formula for V(t) in terms of H(t) if the switch is turned on at time t = 0 and the voltage is gradually increased to 140 volts over a 70 second time interval.

(b) Write a formula for V(t) in terms of H(t) if the switch is turned on at time t = 6 seconds and the voltage is gradually increased to 220 volts over a period of 55 seconds.

i hate my family....all they do is talk about ppl behind their backs and i just think that they are negative people who are very judgemental! i was wondering when i have children should i let my family be a part of their lives? i have no brothers or sisters so im mainly talking about my mother and father. my mother is EXTREMELY emotionally abusive and my father just goes along with it. i'm concerned. i really want my future babies to have a positive life and i dont want them to be around my family. any advice?

I dont understand my wife, she wants to have sex on average about 3 times a week. And I only care to have it maybe once or twice a month. I work alot of overtime and I am very tired when I come home. She tells me all the time that she needs to feel loved. but she comes to me so much that this turns me off. She get angry and starts crying, says that I dont love her. I was looking for a webcam a while back, and I came across one with different filters you could apply while in chat(like fire effect, water effect, etc.), it also including other things, like you could add a mustache while broadcasting, or hats, wigs, cartoon faces to your own face, etc.....anyway I was looking for it again to actually purchase it, but I can't fine it does anyone know a webcam like this or similar, I am looking for under $100, thank you for your help! :-D

My rosemary plants always die from the bottom up within a few months. If it lives I have a spindly tall plant that looks like a pathetic pine branch! I live in S. Coatal Georgia near the ocean and an hour north of Jax. Is that part of the problem?

I am now 29 and I am trying to find this movie. When I was about 7 my parents rented an animated cartoon movie for my sister and I. We used to rent videos from a little momma and pappa location. Anyways I loved this movie and I wanted to try to find it now. From what I remember there is a girl who has 5 brothers and sisters. (at least I think its 5). Some how a witch turns her siblings into swans (or some large white bird). Well this girl is not to speak a word or anything and if she does I think her siblings will remail birds forever. Well this girl sits in a cell and she knitts sweaters for her siblings out of some material. Okay at some point in this movie the witch ties up the girl to a post and pokes her feet with needles of some sort. The girl never screams...she wants to but does not. Anyways at the end of the movie the girl finishes knitting these sweaters and her bird siblings fly and put them on and then turn back into humans.

We share custody of our only child & it gets crazy hectic sometimes trying to commute back & forth. We are less than amicable but both of us have moved on with other spouses & now have other children as well. There is a great house right down the road from him that I am considering buying but I wonder if there's anyone who's done that who can give me some input? It's in a subdivision which means we might run into them at the pool or walking sometimes. I'm not a stalker. I don't want to try to befriend them or rekindle anything. I'm just trying to make things easier on all of us.

But I'm not sure how to pick the right one, or how to design it. I have several ideas that I have drawn, but none seem PERFECT, you know?

So, things about me:

I am a writer. A very passionate writer, words are my life.

I also love reading.

I love the sky, all of it, the sun, the clouds, the moon, the stars, etc. (Twilight is one of my favorite words =P)

I love flowers. Tigerlilies are my favorite.

I love music. All of it.

I love my friends and family.

I love LOVE! And hearts and cute things like that.

And butterflies. And ladybugs. And dragonflies.

I know, it's a lot. I want something that represents ME. And it has to fit in a small tattoo that will be going either on my ankle or my shoulder.

But what do I do????
