No. He should be strong and marry the man whom he loves.

Arranged marriages and marriages of convenience have a long history.

If BOTH parties to the marriage are aware of the true situation, there is no reason such a relationship cannot work.

However, if the man was lying to her about his motivations and leading her to have unreal expectations of a loving relationship, he would be behaving in a very cruel way.

Before undertaking something like that, the person in question might be better off thinking about finding a group of people who would NOT 'shun' him for who he is, and where he could be accepted and find friends and relationships based on the truth.

Cheers :-)

Unfortunately, marriage in most modern societies is a means to gain economic or social superiority. If the woman is agreeable then they should go ahead and be married. Prominent gay men have gotten married for appearances for centuries of human existance.

Changing the outside of a man does not solve his inner dilemma. He must be willing to be transformed from the inside. Your insides have to match your outsides or your life will always be a contradiction.
If the gay man believes that he is wrong for being gay, he must accept this fact and take steps to overcome with God's help. It is difficult but not impossible to leave the homosexual lifestyle. To remain homosexual and try to hide it is an act of deception.

God works in mysterious ways.

No because it's not fair to him and especially not the woman. Their happiness and love will be a lie. A gay man should be with a gay man, end of story. So many call it a sin, but they themselves sin, and no sin is greater than the other. He should follow his heart and be happy.

No. A gay man should acknowledge before the Lord that his lifestyle is an abomination in the eyes of the Lord, confess his bondage to this sin, and call on the Lord for help. He should pray unceasingly, fight the temptation constantly, repent continually, and die to self every day.

Some day, maybe just maybe IF he were to be miraculously freed from that bondage of homosexuality then he could consider marriage. But to consider it as a shield against his true desires is nothing more than piling a lie atop the sin. What good could come of that?

I was gonna leave this alone till I saw ... "no, he shouldnt[sic] be gay in the first place."

What is with these brain stems?
I keep asking but no one ever answers me: Does anyone remember CHOOSING to be straight?
The answer is NO! No! No.
Just like the gay guy didn't choose to be gay either.
It's like being left-handed.
Either you're comfortable that way or not.

I know why the brain stems blame the gay guy it's cos otherwise they'll have to admit 'god' made him like that.
And everyone knows 'god' doesn't make 'mistakes'.
Yeah, just like 'he' doesn't make mentally or physically imperfect people.

Why live a lie just to be able to conform to someone else's standards. Any person should do the best they can to be themselves.

Definitely not! What about lying to the woman - is it goes together with religious belief?

No, because that woman is being led into a fake relationship and you really don't love her. She should have a chance at real love, not giving you satisfaction of knowing your doing good in your head.

Many men have done that, but it's pretty unfair to a woman to use her like that, don't you think?

Perhaps it's time for you to do some deep reflection within yourself.

Good luck and God bless you
