I know Halloween is a ways away, but my friends and I are always brain storming in advance. We always come up with these fun elaborate costumes, but this year none of my friends are into it! This is our first year in highschool and no one wants to look like a dork in front of the older kids. Whats a good costume thats fun but doesn't look to dorky or "little kidish." All my friends think we should just wear a wig with our regular clothes, or a mask. But what fun is that?

I'm a freshman at Middle Tennessee State University. My ultimate goal is to become a pilot. I talked to a Navy recruiter today and he said that I can finish my first year here at MTSU than go and spend a year training for the Navy. After that I would be able to come back to MTSU to finish my college degree. Is this true?

For about 8 months now I've had peach fuzz on my face, I've shaved it 8 or 9 times, but not really needing to ( its noticable close up but not far away ) I've noticed more hair coming in, but very very slowly.. I figured after 8 months it'd be alot thicker and longer. I dono, just wondering if this means I have facial hair coming in, and its just growing very slowly.. or if I'm going to end up not getting facial hair, and just really thin "peach fuz" all the time.. help is greatly appreciated, thanks.

Hi,
I was a complete idiot, I spent 8.5k on a kitchen from mfi and all I have had from them is %$"&.
The kitchen was discontinued, I was told 10 days before delivery after having it on order for 10 weeks! Then half of it didnt turn up after I was given a substitute - The reason being........Every other person who had this kitchen was given the same one and ran out!
I have no kitchen, upset family, and all mfi do is fob me off telling me it will be there in a few weeks. They dont care, they lie and continually make FAKE promises, they have stopped me calling the store I bought it from the number has been disconnected, you now have to go through an 0844 number @ 10p a minute!!
I was on the phone to them earlier for almost an hour - not because I wanted to but BECAUSE THE DELIVERY DID NOT TURN UP!!
I went into the store and was confronted by a man shouting at a salesman saying he had the same thing.
I hear loads of people are having the same, Are they going bust?

I want to be able to start over my life. I want to be a new person -- a good person. I want to take care of myself. I want to show another side of who I REALLY am. I am specifically looking for information on the Chinook, (Chief Multnomah's tribe) although any information about other tribes will most likely be useful as well. I am interested in knowing some stuff about the spirits or gods they believed in and if the land along the Historic Columbia River Highway (Multnomah Falls area) was/is sacred. I am also looking to find if there is an area they believed to be protected by spirits. The internet doesn't seem to be a great resource because most of the stuff was orally handed down through the generations. So if anyone has any knowlegde on this subject, or if you are an American Indian that has any information that will point me in the right direction it will be really helpful.
