I know Halloween is a ways away, but my friends and I are always brain storming in advance. We always come up with these fun elaborate costumes, but this year none of my friends are into it! This is our first year in highschool and no one wants to look like a dork in front of the older kids. Whats a good costume thats fun but doesn't look to dorky or "little kidish." All my friends think we should just wear a wig with our regular clothes, or a mask. But what fun is that?

You'll only come off as dorky if you seem unsure of yourselves. People who laugh and have fun with confidence are hard to pick on.
There are tons of great costumes out there. There are fairies, dark fairies, witches of every color and style, and definitely I like the Hogwarts students idea.

Freshman year is a tough one. Trying to fit in but not wanting to be the DORK.
I'd say, go with the schoolgirl look. Guys like that. Pleated skirt, white blouse, pigtails.

go as socialites. get clothing that looks like the stuff celebs wear. dress or shiney tops and skinny jeans. heels. hats scarfs big sun glasses. get stuffed dogs to carry around. big purses. you can do your hair up or wear a wig. make sure you make up is perfect!
you might just be surprised how the older kids dress. we used to rock the dumbest costumes and loved it.
my junior year i went as a kid- pig tails and freckles. jammies with the butt flap. big slippers and carried a teddy bear around.

when you can laugh at yourself there is noone who can laugh at you. they can laugh with you , but not AT you.
halloween is my favorite holiday (i would rather have 2 haloweens that one christmas).
wear your angel wings with a devil's pitchfork (90% angel 10% devil)
