I believe it's the current Republican position that pollution is moral.

The same as 'adultery' - the polluting of the original authentic self by unloving, comtemptuous adults. This is how the child in all of us is forced into developing a defensive identity and fallacious belief system which we must then struggle to transcend in order to return to 'being.' The symbolism of baptism/water relates to the washing away of the learned ego identity, so that abundant life and purpose can be restored.

It's psychology.

when good morals are starting to be thinned out with one exception after another . Your moral compass will show you where that leads. Cain was told that sin is like a lion waiting to devour / consume him.

A term used by morally corrupt individuals to direct attention from their own "moral pollution"! It takes one to know one, right? Speaking of moral pollution, did you know that the Vatican is believed to house the largest collection of pornography in the world? Let the moralists chew the fat on that one....

I suspect that moral pollution is a condition of more than an environmentally safe amount of morality in the attitudes of a specific body of people. Just as hydrocarbons are measured in "molecules per million cc of air," morals may be measures as "Thow Shalt Nots per million cubist paintings of people."

... It's just a guess... Try a search.

It means people don't think they need to cower, obey and submit anymore, and choose the shaky ground of following their own judgment rather than what they're told.

Yay Pollution! (never thought I'd say that)

That's when someone else's morals get in the way of what you want to do.

It means (I assume) that someone's morality has been all gunked up... you know, like the planet with all the smog.

Christians would say liberalism. I say it's those door locks on public restrooms that never work properly.
