I'm staying at a hotel in the CDG complex and need to reach the Eiffel tower for a dinner cruise. What can I expect to pay for a cab? Is there a better way to get there (keep in mind that my husband and I will be in evening dress for our dinner, so the less walking, etc., the better. I'd like to look fresh when I get there!).

I am engaged, and we are beginning to think about the registry. The problem is that I've lived on my own for over 4 years and have most of the things people usually register for. Also, my family tends to look at what's on your registry and then buy it elsewhere if they can find a good deal. So our idea is to register for a few things we need and hope for $$. But I do want to be sure that the store we register at has a good return policy. Ideally cash back with little hassle. Thanks!

Some Jewish friends have been so kind to ask me and my wife to join them for Rosh Hashanah dinner. I'd like to bring something to express our gratitude, but I want to be respectful of any cultural norms that might restrict such a gesture. We're really looking forward to the celebration, and just want to thank our hosts--appropriately. Any advice anyone can offer is much appreciated.

My girlfriend is twenty six and has zero credit. I want to help her build a credit history so we can eventually buy a house. My concern is that while currently my credit is in good standing, and my overall scores are on the upswing I did have a lot of trouble in the past. Would my checkered credit history affect her in a negative way, considering that I am currently in good standing with all of my accounts?
Oh, and I would trust her with all my assets in cash, so that's not a concern at all.

A friend of mine is having her (25th!) birthday party with an Audrey Hepburn theme and wants everyone to dress up. She's going as Holly Golightly in Breakfast At Tiffanys, so the easiest costume idea has been taken. Does anyone have any good ideas for other of her famous characters?

Just notcied the amount of "best answers" top gear biggest fan is after getting and pretty much all of them are from a user called Jenny Cane.

If you have to resort to giving yourself points you should do it in a much less obvious way. Since some of the answers that were chosen as best answers were "thats interesting" or else complete nonsense, i think its pretty clear they are the same person.
