Take it one day at a time or you will have a breakdown. My son was born when my daughter was 18 months old so I know what you are going through. Just do what you can to tidy up the house, all of the major cleaning can wait until the weekend or hubby's days off. You are going to have to just let some stuff go for it is impossible to get everything done especially when you are breastfeeding a newborn! These days are the hardest but they pass soon. Getting your kids adapted to a daily routine will benefit you and them. When everyone is used to the routine you will find it easier to get things done and the daily stuff will no longer be overwhelming. And take advantage of nap time! Try finding a double stroller for when you are walking, you may find one on craigslist.com or in a local consignment shop for a cheaper price. Good Luck!

The best thing you can do is take a deep breath and relax. This is common for all mothers and the best thing to do is accept the fact that you are one person caring for 3 and you will not be able to take care of everything everyday. As time goes on and the baby grows it will become more independant and you will have more time to get things done. In the end you and your children will be more happy and stress free if you just say oh well. What's more important, having your children remember that you spent all of their childhood cleaning or playing with them? It will get easier with time-enjoy your kids now while they are still young and you are still cool!

Hi there,

I'm not a parent, but the oldest of 5. I've read allot about mom's that feel the same way you do. I think you should have someone come help you out like a friend or family member. You should also join a support group for new mom's....

You are not alone. I think you need to create a strict schedule for the baby to ensure your sanity and have some comfort through out the day.

first of all double stroller is my choice for outings. i have 2 children barely 2 years apart in age and that thing is a life saver when your toddler decides they no longer want to walk or stay near you.there are tons to chose from.

second i've learned....the little things dont matter. its ok if the toddlers toys dont stay in her room. at nap time or the end of the day simply put them away then. start teaching her to help too. sometimes when i get over ran with laundry i'm picking clean clothes out of a basket instead of a drawer for a day or so till i can get them put away. its ok to not to keep the little stuff underwraps. just get to it when you can. i also keep a small basket under my coffee table in the living room so when toys do make their way out there its no trouble to just throw them in the basket and hide them away for the time being. then later on i can put them away in their right place.

also on the cellar note..i can never seem to keep mine in order. dedicate one day a month when you have someone to look after the children for a few hours, to cleaning up and organizing there. then it should stay that way for a few weeks, and by the time its time to organize it again, it shouldnt be to bad.

i'm purely over seven weeks, so a splash better than you. I additionally felt chilly on the commencing up of my being pregnant, yet as issues are becoming i'm feeling slightly warmer at present! My boobs purely exploded at approximately 4/5 weeks, and that i had to pass and purchase better bra's - so as that's my first tip, donning the excellent length, and a cushty greater wholesome. I additionally had very favourite nipples (uncertain if it replaced into from the develop spurt or the chilly!) so i offered bra's that have been a splash thicker than my wide-unfold cloth. I additionally got here upon that donning those vest tops that have the geared up in panel on the bust helped me at evening - I awoke lots happier interior the mornings while i began out donning those. regrettably there is not any miracle treatment to end them hurting - yet via approximately 8/9 weeks the placenta starts makign it is very own hormones, meaning yours can pass returned to a greater organic point, which could eliminate a brilliant form of the indications. delight in that on a similar time because it lasts although, as as quickly as your milk is obtainable in it starts as quickly as greater!
