There's a storyline reason & a realistic reason.....from a storyline standpoint it's probably something Vince McMahon is saving for the right time and the right place. The more recent fan doesnt always remember the fact that Randy Orton in a sense has already conquered the legend of Stone Cold Steve Austin, if you can remember back a few yrs ago. Survivor Series 2003, it was Team Austin vs. Team Bischoff, where the winning team would win either Austin or Bischoff the GM Title of Raw. Well it came down to HBK for Austin & Orton for Bischoff and Orton won. From that point on he claimed to have killed the legend of Stone Cold, so technically it's been done already. But To me the right place would be @ Wrestlemania 24 considering that the two World Title Main Event are slated to be taken up already (HHH vs. Kennedy on Raw & Edge vs. The Undertaker on Smackdown!) That would be huge for Orton, win, lose or draw. From a Realistic standpoint, Austin just can't do it anymore, and I think at this point there isn't a big enough payday to make him come back and tarnish his legacy right now or risk permanent injury, and besides, Austin is just like Hogan, NO WAY would he put Mr. Orton over, so if you think about it, as a Legend Killer fan, would you really wanna see that happen to our boy Randy?

Randy and Austin are two completely different people. Even though Randy is feuding with the McMahons its not like the way how Austin had his feud. Austin Vs McMahons: Austin was the face. Austin represented that worker that always was at odds with his corrupt boss. Even though he would do the most outrageous things to his boss, his boss could never fire him because he is bringing in the cash and the boss gets some sort of enjoyment out of him. Austin doesnt care that he gets fired but knows he cant because he is just that valuable. Orton Vs McMahons: Orton is a heel. Orton is the cocky know it all who uses his family's legacy for his own advantage. He speaks out of line and sometimes allow his ********* get the best of him. That ********* was used against his boss but now is back firing him. The boss lets him know that he doesnt need Orton and that Orton is replaceable and Orton knows it, thats why he does everything possible to stay in the business.

I have a source that says, "Randy is getting married soon and doesn't want to risk injury to himself. His father "Cowboy" Bob Orton, doesn't want Randy to get hurt if he were to go up against "Stone Cold" Steve Austin." My source also said, "Vince and Stephanie have thought about that angle for a while. They only reason why they don't do it is because of Steve's health. It would take about four months of evaluations on Steve to give him an all clear to go back in the ring again."

Maybe it's because he is probably afraid of Stone Cold. It could also be that he knows he can't beat the Texas Rattlesnake.

Sure, Randy has killed plenty of legends (and Cena's dad), but maybe this may be the one legend he won't be able to kill after all.

In fact, Randy may be the one getting killed here by being the victim of a Stone Cold Stunner...what a pity.

I think reason is because Austin is afraid of Orton and that since Orton is the legend killer and Austin is a legend he is chickening out on a great match that I would pay to go see if they ask me to.

Austin is unable to compete because of serious neck injuries.
I like both but Orton knows that Stone Cold will not jobb to him and sometimes Austin plays for keeps.

Because Stone Cold would be like Hogan, SC would never job to anyone at all ... unless it was a huge name like The Rock etc.
Orton SHOULD vs SC, because that would mean he has beat all legends instead of Vinces pet (Hogan).

I HOPE we will see Orton vs Austin next year, it would put Orton HUGELY over.

He hasn't had a reason to yet. All of the people he challenges, he has a problem with, and he always comes face to face with them. That hasn't happened with Stone Cold yet. Plus he is never on Raw, so there really hasn't been a chance.

Randy is probably scared of the Rattlesnake, because he knows about Stone Cold's history and what he did to his past challangers. Especially what Stone Cold have done to Vince over the years and i just loved it.

The reason Randy Orton has not challenged SCSA is-he may be crazy but he isn't stupid. Orton knows that SCSA doesn't play around when it comes to wrestling. He does it for real.
