Its Tray again!, hello are you really that tiny?

I don't think there any plans to fly a Mercury capsule soon so you are out of luck there, why don't you start with a small plane befor aming so high.

Hey Tracy, You need to climb in to a time machine before getting launched in a Mercury capsule, The Mercury program was completed in 1963.

. . . and technically, from a fitting into small places viewpoint, the Gemini capsule was worse. Astronaut Gus Grissom was working very closely to the McDonnell engineers, and the cockpits of the first three spacecraft were designed around him. Later they discovered that 14 of the 16 astronauts could not be fitted into the cabin as designed, and all later cockpits had to be modified.

Mercury was an early sstem--it's been obsolete for over 40 years.

The kindofadvancedspacecraft we will have in 10-15 years won't be so cramped--even the Space Shuttle has some roome tomovearound in.

To be an astronaut isn't --and won't be--a matter ofsize. The people who make it into space as astronauts are--and will continue to be--highly skilled, especially in the sciences. So focuson that. And if that's your ambition, go for it--the "Space Age" is really just getting started. by the end of the 2020's we'll be seeing10--or 100 manned flights for every one we have today. Or more--that's conservative.

Nice. The positions are probably filled for that, but maybe you could be a turret gunner on a B-17 Flying Fortress

>I'd be a good astronaut cause i can fit in small places.

Okay, so you fit one requirement. What about the other 5217 requirements?
