I am 5 months pregnant with a little boy. We have decided that we love the name Carter we just really don't know what will go good with it. We really like Elijah Carter but his brother (who is a dead beat, selfish, butthead...putting it nicely) is named Eli and I don't want people to think that our son is named after him. Any help would be awesome! Thank you so much!!

I cannot stand for people to talk through the speaker phone thingee, because I have a hard time hearing them....and I dont like my conversation to be broadcast to anyone other than the person I am speaking with on the phone. Anybody else agree, don't care, have a story to tell?

i really hate my OCD!!! who here has OCD? who believes that OCD will one day go away even w/out treatment? Or is there a way of treating it w/out medication or CBT? Like reading some self-help books... WHo has heard of Linden method? Who tried it already? Is it effective?

To OCD sufferers who can't do well in school: How do you manage with grades and some judgemental classmates? Do you think we should stop schooling since it affects our performance so badly? Is there still hope??? My OCD really interferes w/ school and i dont know if i can pass all the time... for those who don't have treatment yet, what are you planning to do about your OCD? and school??? are u planning to get treatment or leave it like that? oh pls help me!!!!!

This morning my best friend's sister was hungry and was going to walk to McDonalds before school...Her mom told her to get back over to the bus stop..(I am 16 she is about 15 and is perfectly capable to walk to McDonalds). Then the mom got out of the car (it was raining so she had let them sit in the car) and when Tamika (my friends sister) wouldn't get in the car, she started hitting her hard over and over. Then my best friend, Hannah, called Tamika a baby for crying. What can I do when I am around this. It made me uncomfortable so I took out my cell and started texting to get my mind off of what was going on.

I asked a similar question earlier, so I'm rewording it. I'm wondering how many kids were tying their shoes by 6. I'm having the worst time trying to teach my daughter to tie her shoes, (not that she isn't capable, she's just refusing to even try) the more frustrated she becomes. Within seconds of me showing her what to do she's whipping her shoes across the room telling me she can't do it. I'm just wondering if there are other 6 year olds that refuse to learn to tie their shoes, lol.

Gotta love it!!!! Cub fans are such dreamers and then whiners. Just get over it and start talking about how 08 is the year of the Cubs. And if for some strange reason you make the playoffs, do you really think it matters, you won't be able to beat any of the other playoff teams.

Urine culture read: “Results suggest gross contamination/inappropriate handling. Repeat 10000 CFU per ml Streptococcus agalactiae (Group B). CDC recommends pregnant women w/group B Streptococcus bacteriuria receive intrapartum chemoprophylaxis.” PCP never discussed pregnancy. B/W shows low blood count. PCP says urine & bloodwork are fine. Wk later each time I’d urine/wipe, brownish/yellowish/light pinkish mucous. Then bled heavy w/severe cramps (doubled over), very dark brownish/red blood w/heavy clots, vomit/lightheaded. PCP says ultrasound normal. Shows retroverted (tipped) uterus, nabothian cysts in cervix, endometrial stripe, fluid in right adnexa & cul-de-sac. Unclear what any of this means. Tech performed test on an empty bladder. Had 2 test, one was to be NPOx6h and then I was to fill-up with liquids wait 1hr, then have pelvic U/S. Tech said I didn’t need to fill-up, even had me empty my bladder during the pelvic U/S. I always thought the bladder was to be full for pelvic U/S.

In our bathroom we have the standard pull switch operating fixed halogen downlights. Lately for some strange reason we now have to pull the light switch 3 times to switch them on i.e. on, off then on and it works! Why is this?? Is it a problem with the pull switch unit or is it something to do with the transformers for the Halogen lights?

I'm a single mom and it irks me sooo bad that when my son and I are alone people always want to know... about the father. It's like 'oh how cute is your son! Is the dad involved?' I hate it! The reason I ask is because I can't remember accurate when my last period was. My sonogram due date says I am due on March 5, 2008 and that would put my LMP starting on May 30. I went to the ER and had a blood pregnancy test done on June 3, 2007 and it was negative. I had sex on June 13 and June 17 with my boyfriend. On July 16 I took a preg test and it was positive. I just wanted some feedback. Thanks-

i have 3 tortoises that roam in my backyard, they are all females and about 2 years old. i just noticed that one of them has some flaking and dry blood on it's shell. what is wrong with her. the other 2 are healthy, no pyramid, great diet warm weather and plenty of sunshine and only this one is having problems w/ her shell. help??
